Seeing the anti-air system deployed by the island launch its last twenty-something anti-air missiles, it had to withdraw from the combat sequence due to a lack of ammunition.

Hynix and the Ghost fleet closely followed, quickly depleting their stock of Electromagnetic Pulse Missiles.

The ten Yassen-class Attack Submarines had already received orders in advance. After launching all of their Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs, they began to dive deeper, heading towards the remote waters near Antarctica to temporarily evade potential human searches.

With each detonation of the Electromagnetic Pulse Missiles, intense electromagnetic fluctuations rapidly spread.

Even at a distance of tens of kilometers, Sun Cheng and his team could feel that unpleasant sensation, not to mention the Decepticon Vehicons that were plummeting from the sky!

"The effect of the Electromagnetic Pulse Missiles seems to be much better than expected!" remarked someone.

With an expressionless face, watching the approaching Meteor Rain, Sun Cheng and Thunder stood together, silently observing the sky.

The last few interception waves destroyed less than fifty Decepticon Vehicons. This meant that in the upcoming brutal battle, they would need to face at least 350 Decepticon Vehicons.

"How's the explosive deployment on the island going?" Sun Cheng, after glancing at the injured Swindle nearby, asked Thunder.

During the previous battle, Swindle suffered significant injuries from being surrounded by several Vehicons. If not for his cowardly nature, which made him move closer to their Decepticon warriors during the fight, and Sun Cheng's control of a few Long-Range Sniper Robots that helped him take out two Vehicons, Swindle's injuries would have been even more severe.

However, it seemed that the ordeal might have broken Swindle's spirit. Sun Cheng noticed a shift in Swindle's demeanor. If the situation turns dire during the second wave of invaders, Swindle might decide to flee.

Suppressing the urge to deal with Swindle prematurely, Sun Cheng, as a top leader, knew he couldn't eliminate a subordinate based on mere suspicions. Such actions could demoralize his other subordinates.

"I hope you don't disappoint me," he muttered, shaking his head and dismissing the thought.

The explosives planted on the island were his worst-case scenario plan. If the battle turns unfavorable, Sun Cheng plans to detonate them before retreating. These explosives, originally transported to the island's outpost for nearby ammunition production, amounted to approximately 700 tons. Their explosion would be equivalent to a small tactical nuclear bomb.

Thunder responded, "Everything has been set up as per your instructions, both in the outpost and the critical structures of the island."

The island housed an outpost and Base Two's pseudo-Artificial Intelligence, among other devices. In case of a dire situation, blowing everything up would ensure that certain technologies don't leak out.

Sun Cheng nodded in acknowledgment but didn't reply.

In the sky above, where he was intently gazing, the Meteor Rain formed by the second wave of attacking Decepticon Vehicons was now less than two kilometers from the ground.

"Prepare for battle!"

At Sun Cheng's command, a barrage of shoulder-launched rockets and combat missiles fired from the island, erupting like a torrential downpour. The sheer number was in the thousands, covering the sky, a sight of sheer terror.

The leading group of about a dozen Decepticon Vehicons was almost instantly blown up in mid-air, turning into a shower of small fireballs with shattered debris scattered everywhere.

These rockets and missiles, from the upgraded heavy combat Robots, represented the primary combat force of the island.

Over the past few months, as the Black Market expanded, Sun Cheng and his team initially deployed only a few hundred heavy combat Robots on the island. However, now their numbers have surged to over six hundred.

"Boom, boom, boom, boom..."

As the heavy combat Robots began their artillery barrage, several were already lost. Now, fifty-nine Aerial Combat Robots swiftly ascended from unknown locations on the island.

These robots could perform 360-degree rotations in the air, nimbly targeting their cannons towards the sky. They swiftly transformed into mobile anti-aircraft platforms, with their twin energy cannons relentlessly firing energy projectiles at the Decepticon Vehicons above.

Under a dense barrage of rockets, combat missiles, armor-piercing rounds, and energy projectiles, wave after wave of Vehicons were struck down in mid-air before they could land, either exploding or veering off course to plunge into the sea.

However, a significant number of Decepticon Vehicons managed to break through the defensive net, crash-landing on Terindad Island.

"294 Vehicons..."

Island-wide surveillance cameras and radars quickly reported the total number of Decepticon Vehicons that had successfully landed.

Sun Cheng took a sharp breath. Nearly three hundred Decepticon Vehicons had infiltrated Terindad Island. A brutal battle awaited them.

"Artificial Intelligence, contact Base Two. Continue scouting for a third wave!"

Striving to remain calm, Sun Cheng communicated with the Central Main Control AI within the island's base, instructing it to contact Base Two for further intel.

At the same time, he drew his Ship-slicing Blade and, without hesitation, charged at a group of Decepticon Vehicons that had landed nearby and quickly regrouped.

A fierce battle ensued!

With his powerful mechanical body, Sun Cheng faced the Vehicons. Almost every swing of his Ship-slicing Blade brought down at least one Vehicon.

Yet, like ants overwhelming an elephant, wave after wave of Decepticon Vehicons were swiftly dispatched by him.

In an incredibly short time, twenty to thirty Vehicons fell by his hand.

However, the attacking Decepticons quickly became aware of his presence, and more and more of them began to converge on him.

Meanwhile, some Vehicons recognized the threat posed by the Long-Range Sniper Robots occupying vantage points. They targeted these snipers, who lacked close combat capabilities.

In a mere moment, control over more than half of the Long-Range Sniper Robots was severed from Sun Cheng's system.

The second wave of attacking Decepticon Vehicons didn't include any aerial combat specialists.

Moreover, the quality of this wave was even lower than the previous one, lacking even a single elite warrior.

However, with the Decepticon Vehicons' fearless approach and their overwhelming numbers, Sun Cheng's mechanical body began to show numerous signs of wear and tear. Although the damages were minor and not fatal, it was an ominous start.

Decepticons trying to protect him fell one after the other, and more and more heavy combat Robots were torn apart, destroyed, and blown up.

Even the Aerial Combat Robots under his command, hovering tens to hundreds of meters in the air, continuously plummeted under the assault of the Vehicons' arsenal, which included javelins, boomerangs, chains, grenade launchers, and machine guns.

The brutal war had reached its zenith!
