Starscream did not join the fray in the attack on Terindad Island among the Decepticons, and even Baricade was nowhere to be seen.

Sun Cheng did not believe that Baricade had perished following the battle in Egypt, where Megatron was besieged.

Baricade was one of the few in the Skytiger Legion who could get along with Starscream, a rarity amongst the Decepticons. Although the memory data Sun Cheng had assimilated from Soundwave indicated that Baricade was not precisely Starscream's confidant, since he served both Megatron and Starscream, two Decepticon titans. Their tacit approval of this unique loyalty suggested they each intended to exploit him to gather valuable intelligence from the other.

Given these intricate relations, it was improbable that Baricade could have easily died. He was a Decepticon notorious for his ruthless self-preservation, rumored to have backed up his memory data with Starscream long ago.

The assaulting Decepticon Vehicons, barring the three Terrorcons who possessed the prowess of elite warriors, were nothing more than standard cannon fodder. In the recent war on the far side of the Moon, the Decepticons had relied on this overwhelming force of Vehicons to keep the Autobots at bay from their base.

Regrettably, they now faced Sun Cheng, who shared their strategic insight.

On Terindad Island, as the first wave of Decepticons landed, a brutal battle erupted.

Though the Black Market was established on this island, when Sun Cheng initially took over Terindad Island, he had his Decepticon subordinates seize all six islands in the Tristan da Cunha and Martinvas archipelagos.

Initially, the Decepticon Engineers under Sun Cheng had not made any modifications to the other islands surrounding Terindad. Those islands were not only several kilometers away, but they were also significantly smaller in area.

After the invasion by Soundwave and his forces a few months prior, though Sun Cheng and the Autobots had easily thwarted them, he ordered a full renovation of the remaining five islands post-battle. He knew well that he couldn't count on the Autobots' aid during the next incursion.

Following his directives, under Forerunner and Thunder's supervision, the engineers and workers took over a month to revamp all the islands. The transformed islands were now equipped with anti-aircraft missile systems, early warning radars, and an abundance of heavy artillery.

Indeed, the same Russian-made 2S19 self-propelled howitzers that Sun Cheng had utilized against Lord Fallen in Egypt, now reconfigured into heavy artillery, were deployed across these islands.

Teams of Decepticon Engineers were assigned to maintain the heavy artillery. As foreign invaders breached their territories, the artillery was immediately awakened. Following Sun Cheng's ruthless orders to destroy all island structures at any cost, Thunder, who was in charge, commanded a barrage.

Soon, the heavy artillery from several kilometers away bombarded Terindad Island with a hail of freshly loaded Depleted Uranium Penetrator Rounds.

"Whoosh..."

"Whoosh..."

Above the sky, the sonic booms of cannon shells pierced the air. Under the not-so-recent data update from the island's Central Main Control AI, dozens of Heavy Artilleries launched, their shells rarely deviating more than five meters off target, though the precise hit rate was only around 30%.

However, the Depleted Uranium Penetrator Rounds they fired, upon striking the incoming Decepticon Vehicons, wielded such tremendous destructive power that they could instantly take down a Vehicon.

Sun Cheng's eyes gradually reddened in the kill frenzy. Facing the Vehicons, he chose the Ship-slicing Blade over the Plasma Cannon.

After a period of training, he could now simultaneously control sixty-four Aerial Combat Robots and thirty-two Long-Range Sniper Robots without affecting his own combat performance.

However, because Sun Cheng had to control his private Legion, he couldn't spare more computational power to oversee all the friendly soldiers on the entire battlefield. This was also the reason he handed over combat command to Thunder.

His role was to orchestrate the overall strategy, while his combat-effective self needed only to inflict as much damage as possible.

In fact, Sun Cheng did exactly that.

The attacking batch of Decepticons had no aerial units, allowing him to firmly hold air superiority.

The sixty-four Aerial Combat Robots didn’t lavish their firepower; Sun Cheng kept them hovering in the air within a few hundred meters around him, focusing their attacks on those Vehicons trying to besiege him. Almost every round, at least two or three enemies were killed.

At the same time, they provided him with a battlefield map and data feedback, allowing him to grasp as much information as possible during the combat.

The Long-Range Sniper-type Robots were the most illustrious in combat achievements. Thirty-two of them, having occupied the island's best shooting positions, wielded new sniper rifles and specially made armor-piercing bullets upgraded by Decepticon engineers.

Sun Cheng, while multitasking, controlled them, each shot a coordinated strike on the same target by four snipers, with bullets aiming at the head, chest, and back.

Under his control, the Long-Range Sniper-type Robots, with almost every volley, brought down at least six or seven Decepticons.

Sun Cheng brandished his Ship-slicing Blade, charging wherever Vehicons were most concentrated.

With each swing of the Ship-slicing Blade, at least one Vehicon was reaped.

Gradually, the number of Vehicons on the island dwindled, and the once incessant sounds of explosions also grew sporadic.

When Sun Cheng raised his Ship-slicing Blade and, without hesitation, hurled it at a terrified Decepticon Vehicon not far away, who turned to flee, the blade effortlessly penetrated its body and embedded in the ground beyond.

Almost simultaneously, dozens of meters away, Thunder raised his Plasma Cannon and finished off another fleeing Vehicon with a single shot, temporarily ending the island's combat.

The first wave of attacking Decepticon Vehicons was completely annihilated!

Walking over to retrieve his Ship-slicing Blade, Sun Cheng glanced around the island; thick black smoke and flames were everywhere.

On the ground lay various Decepticon Vehicons, as well as the ordinary Decepticon soldiers, Engineers, and remnants of various Robots under his command.

Among them, the wreckage of various types of Robots was the most abundant, followed by the carcasses of Decepticon Vehicons.

Because the Anti-air missiles intercepted a vast majority of the invading Decepticon Vehicons, Sun Cheng and his forces incurred only a trivial cost, utterly annihilating the first wave of attacking Decepticon Vehicons.
