On the far side of the Moon, within the Retribution Number Spaceship.

Starscream was bowing and groveling before Megatron, whose body now consisted of only one remaining head. He obsequiously recounted the recent battle on the far side of the Moon, explaining the details to the tyrant.

"Oh, has Sentinel Prime already been taken away by the Autobots?" Megatron's voice was cold and ominous. A hint of mockery briefly flashed across Starscream's lowered face, disappearing as he raised it again.

"Yes, Master. Everything is proceeding according to your grand plan. It won't be long before, even if we don't act, the Autobots will start to fall apart on their own."

Megatron let out a cold snort. Sentinel Prime, born into nobility and once elected as the ruler of Cybertron Planet during the Council of Primes era, had both glorious and glaring shortcomings.

His noble lineage, combined with his experiences during the Council of Primes, had molded Sentinel Prime into an arrogant individual who trusted very few Autobots apart from himself. This was evident in the high-pressure policies he enforced during his rule over the Autobots.

Many Autobots had been imprisoned, exiled to distant colonies, executed, or even coerced into joining their mortal enemies, the Decepticons, during Sentinel Prime's reign. The oppressive rule of Sentinel Prime's era left its mark.

"Our so-called Superior General, proud and arrogant as ever, perpetually above all, even considering Autobots as mere pawns to be discarded at will. In his eyes, only royal authority matters, and his own sanctity is beyond infringement. Everything else is expendable!" Megatron mocked Sentinel Prime as he reminisced about the time when Sentinel Prime, who harbored deep-seated hatred for him, had extended an invitation and confidently approached him for cooperation.

Even though much time had passed, each time Megatron recalled that moment, he couldn't help but shudder at Sentinel Prime's audacity and indifference. He was a true egotist, a king and monarch who centered the world around himself.

He always decided the fates of others according to his own will but never allowed anyone to influence his thoughts in the slightest. There's an Earth saying that applies even in the vast universe: the people who understand you the best are often not your relatives or friends but your adversaries and enemies.

Starscream's unique sharp voice made his chuckle sound like a naked mockery. "Yes, Master. While we've only had dealings with the new Autobot Leader, Optimus Prime, for a few centuries, it's impossible for his character to allow cooperation with Sentinel Prime. Once exposed, Sentinel Prime will face a dire situation, and the Autobots will completely abandon this great King of Primus!"

Megatron snorted, just as Sentinel Prime had always treated him as a mere scheming slave behind his back, he looked down upon Optimus Prime, the new Autobot Leader, who was said to be targeted by the corrupt nobles and politicians of the Autobot parliament, now forced to wander in exile.

However, the one advantage Megatron had over Sentinel Prime was that he could learn from his mistakes, and he was not truly rebellious by nature. At least for now, Optimus Prime's standing in his eyes had risen considerably compared to the time of the Las Vegas battle.

Starscream was unsure of what was going through Megatron's mind as he asked with a fawning smile, "Master, do you need me to detonate the bomb?"

"Not necessary!"

Megatron interrupted his proposal with a resolute attitude. Given his current state and before Shockwave's arrival, many plans relied on Starscream to execute them. Although Megatron had left some hidden cards on Earth, even if Starscream were to betray him suddenly, he had confidence that he would return within a few years. However, those were just contingencies, and Megatron hoped he would never have to resort to them.

That's why he selectively disclosed some parts of the agreement between him and Sentinel Prime to Starscream. But Starscream wasn't privy to everything, especially Megatron's original intention to use Sentinel Prime to deal with his teacher, Lord Fallen, who had manipulated his destiny for millions of years from behind the scenes.

Currently, Starscream only knew that Sentinel Prime had traded the entire Autobot faction in exchange for the continued supreme leadership of Cybertron Planet. Megatron had agreed to this, but there was an important additional condition. Sentinel Prime would use Space Bridge technology, a technology once held by only a few top scientists during the peak of Cybertron civilization. This technology would open a direct passage from Earth to Cybertron Planet, spanning four light-years.

Starscream understood the significance of this passage for Cybertron Planet. The countless millions of years of Cybertron Civil War had nearly depleted all its resources. Even within a few billion kilometers centered around Cybertron Planet, all planets and satellites that could be exploited had been nearly exhausted during the war.

To save the dying Cybertron Planet and the Skytiger Legion, they needed to plunder resources and even populations from other planets, and the resource-rich Solar System was an excellent choice. Moreover, the Solar System nurtured Earth, a planet teeming with billions of humans, who were considered by the Decepticons, and even Sentinel Prime, as the most suitable and cost-effective labor force available.

This was also why Megatron wasn't in a hurry to backstab Sentinel Prime. He and Sentinel Prime, both cunning leaders, knew that sooner or later, either Megatron would act out of impatience or Sentinel Prime would take the initiative to tear up the agreement. But for now, Megatron wanted to at least see Sentinel Prime set up the Space Bridge to Cybertron Planet before dealing with this nauseatingly hypocritical Superior General.

To prevent Starscream, who harbored treacherous intentions, from sabotaging his plans, Megatron decided to give him a task. He abruptly changed the subject and asked, "How much longer until my new mechanical body is ready? And have you found Soundwave? I need him to monitor Sentinel Prime for me."

"Master, your mechanical body requires many rare materials, some of which are not found on Earth or the Moon. I've dispatched personnel to the Asteroid Belt to gather them. I believe it will take a maximum of one year for your new mechanical body to be completed."

As for Soundwave, whom Megatron trusted more, he had no qualms about selling out his former 'ally.'

"There's intelligence indicating that several months ago, Soundwave disappeared after visiting an island on Earth called 'Tristan da Cunha.' After that, there was no further contact. According to my investigation, Frenzy, who had betrayed the Cassette Legion, had been spotted on the island multiple times, and Decepticon investigators even saw Autobots on the island!"

"So, I suspect that Soundwave may have fallen victim to an ambush by Frenzy and the Autobots and might have been killed!"

As this statement was made, angry roars immediately echoed through the Retribution Number Spaceship.
