Sun Cheng's return to reality this time was primarily for an experiment.

Over the past nearly two years, he had been constantly pondering the reasons behind the extraordinary events that had happened to him.

The idea of soul-transference to another world was so incredible that even though Sun Cheng continued to tirelessly acquire more knowledge, he still couldn't come up with a theory to explain what had happened to him.

However, this didn't mean he had given up on his research. In fact, Sun Cheng was still diligently trying to decipher everything that had occurred to him.

Back in the "Transformers Universe," before flying from Earth to Mars, he had set himself a research topic.

From a scientist's perspective, any research process essentially consisted of three steps: proposing a hypothesis, seeking theoretical basis, and proving the hypothesis.

Currently, Sun Cheng's research on his own transference was just beginning, and this time back to Earth was mainly to test an idea.

"Is my crossing related to the high similarity between Earths in two parallel worlds?"

In the "Transformers Universe," Frenzy's Body was currently located above Mars, presenting a rare opportunity. So he wanted to return to the Real World and experiment to determine if his transference was influenced by the two parallel Earths.

Of course, Sun Cheng could also accomplish several other things along the way.

For instance, he needed to procure specific supplies for the Mars base from the Real World to expedite its development.

In passing, Sun Cheng had some small items to bring back to the Real World, such as the Medical Pod he had just used!

The Medical Pod was a technology path Sun Cheng had discovered while researching the Sleep Capsule.

Although it was not a Sleep Pod, the relevant technology for Sleep Pods had been found by Sun Cheng on a small spaceship manufactured by the Hunter Civilization in the Real World's Nubra Island long before.

Despite the vastly different physical structures of those extraterrestrial beings compared to humans, the similar devices found on the spaceship could not be used directly by humans.

However, the principles were roughly the same. So, in the "Transformers Universe," Sun Cheng had specifically ordered his Decepticon engineers to comprehensively reverse engineer and modify those devices.

South America had been in a state of turmoil since the modern era, making it easy to obtain a sufficient number of death row prisoners for experiments.

With the cooperation of Yuri and others, Decepticon engineers had manufactured four experimental Sleep Pods and conducted cumulative tests for up to thousands of hours within Base Two. The technology was relatively mature.

When he returned to the Real World previously, Sun Cheng brought back the relevant manufacturing technology for Sleep Pods.

However, Sleep Pods weren't needed before entering the spacefaring era, at least for the next two to three decades.

If someday Sun Cheng's lifespan was about to run out, and he couldn't achieve life extension with the technology he possessed, then at that time, he might consider entering a Sleep Pod after thorough preparation and waiting for the day when life extension technology matured.

Sun Cheng was still young now, so he didn't attach great importance to Sleep Pods. The related technology he had brought back from the "Transformers Universe" had been stored in his brain, with two other copies stored in Base One of Tiger King Ridge and the newly established Base Three on Nubra Island, on two massive storage chips.

Compared to Sleep Pods that he wouldn't need for the time being, Sun Cheng had always been more interested in Sleep Capsules.

His interest in Sleep Capsules stemmed from the fact that, after returning to reality, he had a lot of work to handle for the Corporation every day, and he also needed to find time to exercise.

This led to Sun Cheng needing to sleep for at least eight hours a day to alleviate mental and physical fatigue.

For someone like him, who had gotten used to Frenzy's Body in the "Transformers Universe," where he could go for months without rest, wasting time in this way felt utterly shameful. However, not sleeping wasn't an option because of the frailty of the human body. Both mental and physical activities continued to increase fatigue in various organs of the body, and sleep was the most affordable and direct means of recovery.

So, Sun Cheng came up with the idea of creating a special device to assist him in entering a state of deep sleep, one that would only require one or two hours, or even less, of sleep to enable rapid recovery of both his brain and body.

Furthermore, he had some higher expectations for his designed Sleep Capsule. He envisioned it having a learning function in the future, allowing it to impart knowledge to the user's mind during sleep.

However, Sleep Capsule involved a multitude of complex elements, especially in the realm of the brain. Even Sun Cheng's Decepticon engineers in the "Transformers Universe" were still in the research phase.

The Medical Pod he had brought back this time was a new creation by a Decepticon engineer who had gone out of his way to please Sun Cheng. After dealing with dozens of death row inmates sent over by Yuri and others in Brazil, they had managed to produce this novelty.

With a thought, Sun Cheng immediately had a control terminal similar to a tablet computer and a wristwatch-like device appear in his hand.

He powered up the device resembling a smartwatch and took off the watch Ye Qi had given him, replacing it with the one on his left wrist.

Skillfully operating the control terminal, rows of data appeared on the screen.

Heart rate, pulse, blood sugar, organ functions, and more—the data detected was even more detailed than the expensive medical equipment in a hospital's intensive care unit.

This data came from Sun Cheng's own body, and not long ago, it had been injected into him within the Medical Pod. It was a type of nanomedical robot manufactured by his Decepticon engineers using Cybertron's manufacturing technology and science.

These robots were less than 2 nanometers in size, and each injection contained nearly a thousand of them. They could remain hidden in the body, responsible for monitoring and inspecting Sun Cheng's bodily data. Once they detected any anomalies, they would send alerts to the wristwatch he was wearing.

With this device, aside from brain-related procedures and illnesses, Sun Cheng only needed to issue a command for the nanomedical robots to take care of many simple surgeries and diseases.

For surgeries applied directly at the cellular level, he, as the passive recipient, wouldn't even feel a hint of pain; the surgery would likely be completed.

One could say that this Medical Pod was a product born out of one of Sun Cheng's Decepticon engineers trying to ingratiate themselves to him in the "Transformers Universe."

But Sun Cheng genuinely liked this product, and he even wished for the birth of more such products.

After a quick scan to confirm that all his bodily functions were in a healthy state, he satisfactorily retrieved the control terminal back into the Spherical Space.

The control terminal was extremely dangerous; this tablet-like device had the power to command the nanomedical robots within Sun Cheng's body.

If it fell into the wrong hands and someone pressed the command to kill the healthy cells in his body, it could spell his demise.

So, unless absolutely necessary, Sun Cheng had no intention of exposing it to the outside world.
