For beings with a long lifespan like the Cybertronians, a few days could be considered fleeting. The distance from Terindad Island to the East African region where the new Iron Fortress City was located spanned thousands of kilometers.

After bidding farewell to Drift, Sun Cheng called for Thunder and Hynix, preparing for their journey to witness the grand event. Swindle and Forerunner remained behind on Terindad Island, as the island's Black Market had only been established for a little over a month, and it was a time for stability.

Through this Black Market, Base Two had been acquiring various rare metals and precious rare earth resources more conveniently than ever before. With the construction of the Autobot's new Iron Fortress City and the impending war with the Skytiger Legion, it wouldn't be long before the battle resurfaced on Earth, a planet located light-years away from their homeworld, Cybertron.

This was an inevitable outcome!

The Skytiger Legion had spared no effort, spending millions of years to defeat the Autobots and drive them out of Cybertron. Before leaving Cybertron, Megatron had entrusted his army to Shockwave. Under his leadership, the Decepticons were simultaneously regrouping and aggressively eliminating the Autobot guerrilla forces that remained on Cybertron Planet. He was also urging the Decepticon Constructicons to build spaceships, preparing for an expedition to the Satellite to wipe out the Autobots entirely.

The Skytiger Legion could not afford to stand by and let Optimus Prime rebuild the new Autobot capital on an undeveloped planet like Earth. They were well aware that if they allowed the Autobots to establish a new capital on Earth, the Autobots would soon rise again, exploiting the resources of Earth and even the Solar System.

The deep-seated enmity forged over millions of years of warfare between the Decepticons and the Autobots was something they could not allow to rekindle.

"So, attending the inauguration of the new Iron Fortress City this time is equivalent to taking sides..." Sun Cheng stood on the deck of the transformed battleship Hynix, looking in the direction of the African continent over the Atlantic Ocean. His face showed no emotional fluctuations.

Having offended Megatron, he didn't mind aligning with the Autobots. However, the plans for the Mars base had to be expedited because once the Decepticons learned that the Autobots had established a new capital on Earth, the onslaught from the Skytiger Legion would be relentless. Base Two was not immune to this, and Sun Cheng had to prepare for the worst before the attack arrived.

Thunder also stood on the deck, wondering what Sun Cheng was contemplating. However, he could sense the changes in Forerunner.

"It seems that the modifications you received when you returned to Base Two not too long ago have greatly improved you," he casually chatted with Hynix through the Communication Channel.

After Hynix's Core had been upgraded and modified, he was no longer as dull as he had been a little over a month ago, when a significant portion of his computational power had been occupied by the internal combat systems. However, his personality seemed to have settled during the early days of his existence, and even though his computational power had increased, he remained a somewhat taciturn individual.

Upon hearing Thunder's words, Hynix shared his current mechanical body data in the Communication Channel, albeit somewhat awkwardly. Thunder raised an eyebrow but didn't say much more.

...

He processed Hynix's current data and couldn't help but be amazed. Hynix appeared to be nothing more than a bulky advanced warrior, with little to offer beyond his strength, making him an easy target for warriors like himself and Forerunner, who were agile and specialized in close combat.

However, during previous tests, his formidable firepower had truly astonished many. Hynix possessed the ability to intervene in battles from hundreds of kilometers away, delivering devastating Earthfire power in a very short amount of time, and he had strong firepower coverage capabilities.

A Decepticon like him would have been considered a star in both the Skytiger Legion and Autobot camps during the Cybertron Civil War. He was indeed a highly sought-after asset.

Hynix, who had undergone a series of modifications, had significantly improved his speed when traveling. Sun Cheng valued this rare period of peace and didn't push Hynix to go faster. If they wanted to speed things up, Sun Cheng could have just taken Thunder and Forerunner, all of whom had fighter forms, and they would have reached their destination in a matter of hours.

As they continued their journey, one day before the scheduled inauguration of the new Iron Fortress City mentioned by Drift, the trio had already passed through the Suez Canal and entered the Red Sea. In the East African region, they chose the land route, proceeding leisurely along the East African Rift Valley.

Sun Cheng was no stranger to the East African Rift Valley. During his brief stay in Africa, he had considered establishing a secondary base within this region. Despite the struggling human nations within Africa, it was an incredibly fertile land bestowed by nature. Many areas had exceptionally fertile soil, and the region held a wealth of resources that made Sun Cheng covetous.

However, in the end, the grand strategy of recruiting the Autobots had overshadowed everything else, leading him to abandon the idea of establishing another base in Africa and surrendering this fertile land to the Autobots.

Before he had made that decision, though, the unique environment of the East African Rift Valley had made it a focus of his inspection. Yes, Sun Cheng had unintentionally shared common interests with the Autobots; they had both chosen to establish their bases within specific sections of the Rift Valley.

Hynix, despite his massive frame, did not move much slower on land. Sun Cheng calculated the time they needed to reach their destination and aimed to arrive on the fifth day. They reached the Autobot base, the new Iron Fortress City, hidden in a segment of the East African Rift Valley in Ethiopia.

Because they hadn't intentionally concealed the electromagnetic spectra emitted by the three Decepticons, they felt that they were being watched as they entered the radiation range of the new Iron Fortress City. However, the Autobots seemed to have received prior notice and did not make any aggressive moves.

Traveling along the deep canyon, Sun Cheng and his companions proceeded slowly. Not long after passing through a river valley, they suddenly found themselves dazzled by a sight ahead.
