"The Autobots have finally established a base on Earth, and the day has finally arrived!"

The Autobots had indeed established a base on Earth. While this development was expected by Sun Cheng, it was a result of his continuous efforts behind the scenes, driven by his own interests. After all, the Autobots' decision to establish a base on Earth, a planet already home to its own native civilization, was a calculated move made to secure their interests.

However, even for the mastermind like Sun Cheng, witnessing Optimus Prime, the young Autobot leader, establishing a base on Earth left him feeling deeply impressed.

It was a base, an Autobot base.

Bases held a profound significance for Cybertronians. The concept originated during the era of the Cybertron Council of Primes, when the highly advanced technology had led to the corruption of the aristocrats who governed the entire Cybertron Planet. In pursuit of more resources and energy for their own enjoyment, Cybertron embarked on an unprecedented wave of extraterrestrial exploration and colonization.

Countless lower-class Cybertronians embarked on journeys aboard exploration spaceships to colonize distant alien planets. As a result, colonies and cities were established on remote planets located billions or even trillions of kilometers away from Cybertron Planet.

The universe never favored a single planet or race. Since the birth of the universe, it had nurtured countless life-bearing planets and civilizations. Among these civilizations, only a few had reached the interstellar era, but in the vastness of the universe, their numbers were significant.

Within the Milky Way, where Cybertron Planet was located, Cybertronians encountered hundreds of interstellar civilizations of varying technological levels. Most of these encounters resulted in wars that lasted tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of years, driven by the competition for resource-rich planets and extraterrestrial colonies.

The concept of bases originated during this period, on the extraterrestrial colonial planets of Cybertron. According to Cybertronian design, a base typically consisted of one or several habitable cities, a series of supporting facilities, industrial and mining zones, supply warehouses, and most importantly, military fortifications and strongholds, all grouped together in a massive complex.

These large complexes, originally built by Cybertronians on extraterrestrial colonial planets to resist space pirates and other interstellar civilizations, were later transported back to Cybertron Planet through the use of transport spaceships traveling between the colonial planets and Cybertron.

Shortly thereafter, the revolution and the Cybertron Civil War erupted, resulting in the destruction of many ancient, exquisite, and luxurious buildings and cities by the Autobots and Decepticons. Both Autobot and Decepticon architects quickly realized that these ornate and opulent structures from the time of the Council of Primes were utterly useless in the face of war.

As a result, the bases brought back from extraterrestrial colonies to defend against space pirates and foreign raiding fleets were carefully improved and modified by Autobot and Decepticon architects, and they were quickly mass-produced on Cybertron Planet.

This is why Sun Cheng attached such great importance to the Autobots' establishment of the New Base on Earth, as an Autobot base meant at least one city belonging to the Autobots, a series of facilities serving this city, extensive industrial and mining zones, and various military structures, and more.

At present, there were fewer than two hundred Autobots who had arrived on Earth. Since the Autobots did not have Decepticon laborers as a slave class, many of their services and industrial tasks required civilians to complete.

Relying on the current count of less than two hundred Autobots on Earth, they were far from capable of supporting the construction and operation of a base, especially one named after the former Autobot capital, the New Base.

"It seems that Optimus Prime is either preparing or has already called for more Autobots to come to Earth... The construction of the Mars base must be accelerated!"

A regular Autobot New Base was an entirely different concept from the Autobots' new capital city, and Sun Cheng was well aware of this. He also knew that other Decepticons, upon learning of this development, would likely have even stronger reactions than him.

"This is once again sounding the horn of war!"

Countless thoughts flashed through his mind. As he looked at Drift, who stood silently waiting for his response, Sun Cheng didn't hesitate and replied in a solemn tone, "Please convey to Optimus Prime that we will arrive on time."

Sun Cheng could roughly guess Optimus Prime's purpose for inviting him, which likely aligned with his own thoughts. It was likely about strengthening their cooperation further and binding each other to their respective causes.

Sun Cheng did not oppose forming an alliance with the Autobots and understood why Optimus Prime was taking this step.

After the second Cybertron Civil War ended, with the fall of the Autobot capital, Iron Fortress, to the Decepticons, and the loss of many Autobot lives, some Autobots retreated to Cybertron's Satellite for a chance to counterattack. Only a small faction of Autobots remained on Cybertron Planet, operating as guerrilla forces against the Decepticons.

The victory of the Skytiger Legion had elevated Megatron and Shockwave's prestige, leaving the Autobots on the losing side in a challenging position. Optimus Prime, who had been tasked with leading the Autobots during the crisis but couldn't prevent the turmoil, became the scapegoat for the higher-ups and a significant portion of the Autobot civilian population.

Frenzy had originated from the Cassette Legion and had some knowledge of the situation on the Autobot side. Optimus Prime's current situation was marginally better, as he had been personally chosen by Sentinel Prime to succeed him and had served as a senior commander during the Civil War, leading several victorious battles against the Decepticons. He also had followers within the Autobots, albeit in smaller numbers.

Previously, Sun Cheng had used the lives of two heavyweights from the Skytiger Legion, Soundwave and Astrotrain, to prove to Optimus Prime and the others that he had severed ties with the Skytiger Legion. In a sense, Optimus Prime could indeed view Sun Cheng as a potential ally after that, as they both shared a common enemy—Skytiger Legion!

Drift appeared somewhat surprised by Sun Cheng's decision but didn't express it too explicitly. However, Sun Cheng and his subordinates could sense that this Triple Changer from the Autobot camp was more friendly in his demeanor after receiving Sun Cheng's affirmative response.

"The inauguration ceremony for the New Iron Fortress City will be held in five days. Here are the precise coordinates for the city. Optimus Prime is eagerly looking forward to your arrival, Frenzy."
