Once the engineers received their orders, they quickly controlled hundreds of dredging robots to evacuate from the lake's bottom.

With only Sun Cheng and Accel remaining, he instructed, "I'll go inside. The spaceship's AI core should still be intact. You stand guard for me."

"Yes, master."

Turning his gaze to the spaceship in front of him, Sun Cheng extended his right hand, and his five fingers morphed into a brilliant blue jet of flames. He aimed it at the spaceship's hull, and the sharp cutting sound echoed through the underwater environment, sounding eerily out of place.

"Fortunately, the spaceship has been crashed for quite some time. Otherwise, breaking through its hull wouldn't be an easy task!"

It took Sun Cheng over two hours to cut a passage through the several meters thick hull, large enough for him to enter and exit.

"You should step back a bit!"

He instructed Accel to move back slightly, then placed his palm on the cut section of the spaceship's hull, causing it to disappear into a spherical space, ready to be taken back to Base Two for his Decepticon engineers to analyze its composition thoroughly.

In the moment the cut section vanished, a horrifying suction force emanated from inside the spaceship.

Sun Cheng stumbled forward, and the rushing water from behind propelled him into the spaceship. His body bobbed up and down uncontrollably inside the ship's chamber, colliding with the ship's interior walls several times before regaining control.

His eyes emitted two beams of brilliant blue light, scanning and searching through the murky and dirty chamber filled with water.

The section of the spaceship Sun Cheng cut was located at the rear, very close to the engine room.

He wasn't sure if the spaceship's engine was still functional, so he decided to investigate.

Swimming through the murky water filled with mud and debris, Sun Cheng slowly made his way through the chamber.

Occasionally, bizarre aquatic creatures with snake-like or electric eel-like appearances swam by him. Some were flat with menacing fangs.

Seemingly attracted by the blue beams emitted from Sun Cheng's eyes, these grotesque aquatic creatures would occasionally appear suddenly, some even circling around his head and attempting to attack him.

Despite not suffering from deep-sea phobia and knowing that these creatures couldn't harm him, Sun Cheng still couldn't help feeling uneasy about these strange creatures that had suddenly appeared from nowhere.

He had no choice but to release electromagnetic waves that made these creatures extremely uncomfortable, dispersing them from his vicinity. Sun Cheng finally felt a bit more at ease.

The spaceship's chamber was quite large, and he started his search from where he had entered. It took him more than ten minutes of slow exploration to finally reach the engine room.

The engine room's door was wide open, and it was also filled with water and mud.

Seeing this scene, Sun Cheng's hope had already dwindled considerably. What more could he expect?

As expected, he circled inside the spacious engine room, collecting only a few sets of engine exterior and structural data. There was nothing more to gain.

The engine room was at some distance from the warehouse, with two Lockdown chambers in between.

Sun Cheng retrieved some steel plates from his spherical space, and his right hand transformed into a welding torch again. He created an isolation zone and entered one of the chambers.

One of the chambers seemed to be a storage room, filled with things he couldn't understand. The other, slightly larger one, appeared to be the Pathfinder's collection room, filled with various custom-made metal cans.

Sun Cheng opened one of them and found a unique metal that didn't appear on the periodic table, most likely discovered by that Pathfinder during their exploration in space.

He stowed away everything from the miscellaneous room and the storage room into his Spherical Space and continued his search.

Most of the compartments inside the spaceship were filled with water, having been submerged for thousands of years. Many things were thoroughly damaged.

As he made his way to the cargo hold on the spaceship, Sun Cheng found only a few unidentified trinkets in his Spherical Space.

As he got closer and saw the distorted, cracked walls of the cargo hold, he knew there might not be much to find.

Sure enough, when Sun Cheng swam into the cargo hold and took a look, a large amount of metal had corroded due to water, firmly rusted to the ship's interior.

After a brief survey, he only took some metals that weren't found on Earth and left the cargo hold.

The Central Main Control AI was located in the cockpit at the front of the spaceship, second only to the cargo hold and the rest area.

Sun Cheng had no intention of going to the rest area, nor was it necessary.

This spaceship had a massive breach on the side of the rest area, which was also the area most heavily eroded by the lake water and mud. There probably wouldn't be anything usable there.

As Sun Cheng moved further towards the front of the spaceship, he noticed that the compartments fully submerged in water, even filled with mud, became more numerous.

It took him more than ten hours to finally reach the front of the spaceship, where the cockpit with the Central Main Control AI was located, outside of it.

The sealing around the cockpit was noticeably better than in other parts of the ship.

Using a steel plate to weld shut the murky lake water behind him in the compartment, Sun Cheng broke through a wall and entered a passage outside the cockpit.

This was a relatively dry passage, except for the area that got wet when he broke through the wall. Most of it was quite dry.

Seeing this, Sun Cheng's mood improved a bit.

The difference between the common script used by Cybertronians during the Council of Primes era and the modern Cybertronian universal script wasn't too significant, as they were part of a shared tradition.

Following the guidance, Sun Cheng arrived at the doorway to the cockpit. Just as he was about to force his way in, he suddenly squinted his eyes at the conspicuous keyhole on the massive alloy door at the cockpit's entrance.

After a moment of contemplation, Sun Cheng reached out with his right hand, conjuring a spherical metal ball out of thin air.

This metal ball was the same one he found six months ago when exploring the underground tomb of the Pathfinders near the Tiwanaku City ruins. It was the awakening device for the Central Main Control AI on this spaceship and also a key, capable of both reviving the spaceship's AI and unlocking the cockpit door.

After playing with the round metal ball for a moment, Sun Cheng inserted it into the conspicuous keyhole on the cockpit door.

In a miraculous turn of events, as soon as he inserted the spherical metal ball into the keyhole, various patterns immediately appeared on its surface.

Subsequently, similar patterns appeared on the cockpit door, and when the two sets of patterns aligned, the alloy door made a clicking sound as it retracted into the walls on either side.

Sun Cheng was about to reach for the enigmatic floating spherical metal ball when, at that moment, as if summoned by something, it was pulled by a tremendous force and flew into the cockpit.

In the next moment, the dark cockpit lit up with blue, white, and red lights, and a neutral and calm voice resounded.
