To entrust one's own life entirely to another's control – this was never Sun Cheng's style, especially not when it came to the Autobots. His trust in them had not reached such a level.

Optimus Prime and his comrades were a valuable asset, but not his sole reliance.

The entire Terindad Island quickly took shape in Sun Cheng's mind as a highly detailed virtual projection sand table. Within this sandbox, controlled blue dots from three different locations were continuously activated and rapidly entered the battlefield.

"Swish!"

In the sky above, twenty-four recently improved Second Generation Aerial Combat Robots deployed swiftly under Sun Cheng's command.

On Tristan da Cunha Peak and Danova Peak, twelve Long-Range Sniper Robots each took their positions. Their modified sniper rifles aimed at designated targets.

Astrotrain, noting the severely damaged Soundwave, immediately locked onto Sun Cheng and charged towards him.

He was a standard brute, valiant in battle, and unafraid of death. Even in the face of Optimus Prime, the Autobots' leader, he dared to engage aggressively.

Sun Cheng couldn't afford to be entangled with him.

With a thought, all twelve Second Generation Aerial Combat Robots adjusted their cannons and opened fire on Astrotrain relentlessly.

Simultaneously, the other twelve aimed their guns at Soundwave and kept firing.

From the distant mountains, the caliber of the Long-Range Sniper Robots' rifles was modified, increasing from the original 12.7 millimeters to 20 millimeters. Their bullets, previously special Tungsten Carbide Armor-Piercing Rounds, were now mixed in a 1:1 ratio with Depleted Uranium Rounds.

Under Sun Cheng's control, half of the Long-Range Sniper Robots consistently targeted Astrotrain's eyes, while the other half focused on the chest wound of Soundwave. A single bullet hitting his Spark would spell doom for him on Terindad Island.

Locked onto by the Second Generation Aerial Combat Robots, Astrotrain quickly descended into a state of frustration.

"You damn pests!"

These twelve Second Generation Aerial Robots had been upgraded to equip two energy cannons and two ordinary cannons capable of firing custom armor-piercing shells. Although their projectiles weren't enough to severely damage Astrotrain, each armor-piercing round left a radial pattern of fractures on his mechanical body's surface.

When hit by an energy cannon, the cracks rapidly expanded, resembling frost blossoms on a winter glass surface.

Even though his entire body was covered in such wounds, it still didn't hinder Astrotrain's combat capability. However, constantly harassed like this, the brash Decepticon warrior would soon become enraged.

Seeing him raise his Ion Displacer Fusion Cannon, already aimed at one of the Second Generation Aerial Robots, Sun Cheng tightened his grip on the Ship-slicing Blade in his hand. He activated the auxiliary propulsion systems beneath his legs, and with a surge of thrust, he closed the distance to Astrotrain in the blink of an eye.

The Ship-slicing Blade in his hand swung towards Astrotrain's Ion Displacer Fusion Cannon.

Screech!

After a piercing metallic friction sound, Astrotrain's Ion Displacer Fusion Cannon was split into two sections.

His most threatening deadly weapon was gone!

Simultaneously, over a distance of more than two thousand meters, dozens of custom bullets from the Long-Range Sniper Robots precisely hit Astrotrain's eyes.

"Curse you!"

With a resounding shout, one of Astrotrain's eyes, after being consecutively hit by several custom armor-piercing rounds and Depleted Uranium Rounds, was showered in sparks, clearly blinded.

Triple Changers like Astrotrain had indeed undergone numerous modifications by Shockwave, granting them formidable mechanical bodies capable of directly confronting Leader-level entities. However, this did not mean that every part of his body was flawless. His eyes, in particular, were evidently not strong enough to withstand the continuous barrage of custom armor-piercing rounds and Depleted Uranium Rounds, remaining intact.

Accompanied by a gunshot, Astrotrain had to allocate one of his hands to block the bullets incessantly aimed at his eyes while dealing with Sun Cheng and the Second Generation Aerial Combat Robots from above.

"Well done!"

With the pressure alleviated, Sun Cheng couldn't help but feel a surge of satisfaction. It affirmed that his choice had been correct.

"Transformers Universe" was far from safe, be it the conflicts between humans and Cybertronians or the internal strife among Autobots and Decepticons. Since his arrival in this world, Sun Cheng had never experienced a moment of respite.

So, even though he was reluctant to be drawn into it, he had to force himself to consider how to emerge victorious in conflicts that could involve him.

For this reason, he had to compel himself to master a style of combat.

Since the Second Civil War, with the depletion of Cybertron Planet's resources and energy sources, both Autobots and Decepticons had primarily shifted to a fighting style that conserved internal energy consumption, emphasizing close-quarters combat.

It was straightforward and brutal, relying on the might of their powerful mechanical bodies to overpower opponents.

Sun Cheng was not very accustomed to this fighting style; he found it unsophisticated, as its maneuverability was poor.

Ordinary Decepticons and Autobots had to make several times the sacrifices when facing higher-ranked warriors. Similarly, even with just one elite warrior, they had the capability to crush higher-ranked opponents.

Commanders and Leaders were already the pinnacle of strength for both Decepticons and Autobots.

Without their own factions, ordinary Autobots and Decepticons, despite having lifespans of tens of thousands or even millions of years, would still likely gather enough resources in their lifetimes to upgrade their Cores, Sparks, and even acquire new mechanical bodies.

Hence, Cybertronians had a strict hierarchical system within their ranks.

Due to the limitation of his manpower, Sun Cheng could neither learn nor wanted to learn the fighting styles of Decepticons and Autobots, which often required vast numbers.

Therefore, from a long time ago, he had been continuously experimenting to find a combat system and tactics that suited him.

The previous success of Starscream, who sacrificed many Decepticon cannon fodder, including over a hundred Vehicons, to assassinate Optimus Prime, had greatly inspired Sun Cheng.

Although before that, he had attempted to use various types of combat robots continuously improved and updated by his Decepticon engineers to cooperate with him in group combat, allowing him to transform from an individual into a legion at any time.

However, the results were unsatisfactory because the combat robots had too fragile mechanical bodies, making them perform poorly whether facing Decepticons or Autobots.

It was only in the last encounter, when he faced Lord Fallen directly, that Sun Cheng finally found a tactical and combat style that suited him.
