"Autobots wreaking havoc on U.S. soil?"

In the South Pacific Ocean, on Trinidad Island, Sun Cheng connected to a European communication satellite and quickly perused the current global political news on Earth.

To his surprise, he stumbled upon numerous news articles and videos related to major U.S. defense contractors facing terror attacks. Intrigued, Sun Cheng decided to investigate further, and it didn't take long for him to realize something peculiar was afoot.

For mechanical life forms seeking intelligence via Earth's internet, it was a straightforward task. Although the online realm had been visibly cleansed, Sun Cheng only needed to invest a bit more time.

On some lesser-known forums and private blogs, due to regulatory gaps in U.S. oversight, a few personally shot videos were still available. Sun Cheng even found more videos with better angles and higher clarity on the dark web forums.

In those videos, he was astonished to see the figures of Autobots such as Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, who were supposed to have perished.

"Optimus Prime and Bumblebee have returned? It seems that the legendary Leadership Module, with its unimaginable power, has indeed fallen into the hands of the Autobots. Lord Fallen is very likely severely wounded or even dead by now!"

After nearly two years of training in the Transformers Universe, Sun Cheng no longer resembled a recent college graduate fresh out of school. His ample experiences and encounters allowed him to easily extract valuable information from limited data.

For instance, the final ownership of the Leadership Module, the fate of Lord Fallen, and why the Autobots appeared within U.S. territory to attack the headquarters and laboratories of those defense giants.

"It appears that the Autobot corpses from the Jordan battlefield were indeed transported by the Americans!"

With this thought, a faint smile appeared on Sun Cheng's lips.

Approximately half a month ago, in the Jordan-Petra Mountains, the battle over the Leadership Module had embroiled the Autobots and the Skytiger Legion.

Sun Cheng had played a minor role, not delving too deeply into the conflict. He knew he wasn't Lord Fallen, nor was he a match for the Autobots and the Skytiger Legion. Consequently, he had decisively abandoned the Leadership Module.

Subsequent events proved that the Leadership Module had acted like a magnet, diverting the attention of Lord Fallen, the Skytiger Legion, and the Autobots, giving Sun Cheng the time to set up his own plans and ultimately obtain an Artifact—the Requiem Blaster.

Though the gains from the recently concluded battle were indeed not as substantial as those of the Autobots, they weren't as meager as expected either.

Sun Cheng had discovered the Autobot corpses shortly after the U.S. bombings had ceased. Although he coveted them, he refrained from making a move, thinking that these Autobot remains might serve as an excellent lure.

While the Sound Nest unit had disbanded, there was no telling if the Autobots and the Americans might continue to cooperate.

At that time, Sun Cheng evidently hadn't contemplated the distant future. He was merely concerned that, following Optimus Prime's demise, the Autobots on Earth might potentially cooperate with the United States once more, given the looming threat of the Skytiger Legion and Lord Fallen.

Sun Cheng had some knowledge about both the Autobots and the United States. The Autobots, unlike the Decepticons, were peace-loving but had their own set of limitations. On the other hand, the United States had exhibited a strong appetite for power. Even when Optimus Prime was alive, they had expressed an interest in studying the Decepticon remains that Sound Nest had cleared.

With Optimus Prime no longer in the picture, would the United States become interested in the Autobot remains? And if they did intervene, would the Autobots continue to peacefully coexist with them?

As things stood, Sun Cheng had received an answer to his most pressing question.

"This is for the best. The Autobots should remain in Africa, ideally diverting the attention of the Decepticons and the United States away from other places."

Sun Cheng understood that reality rarely matched his desires entirely, but for now, everything was within his grasp.

He swiftly disconnected from the communication satellite, once again escaping Soundwave's interference. This had been one of his experiments. Since repairing his mechanical body, Sun Cheng had been attempting to connect to various Russian satellites he had controlled back when he was still in North Dovinsk.

The battles on the African continent had ended some time ago, but Decepticons like Starscream and Soundwave had suddenly gone silent. To Sun Cheng, these disappearances posed a threat almost on par with Lord Fallen. No one knew what these individuals were up to while hiding.

Their sudden quietude only increased Sun Cheng's unease. He continuously reminded himself to stay vigilant and be prepared for potential attacks at any moment.

Taking an Energon Cube from the Spherical Space, Sun Cheng, with nothing better to do, began studying it once more.

It had been nearly half a month since they arrived on Trinidad Island. The Decepticon engineers on the island, under the leadership of an engineer, were still controlling the robots in their excavation of a tunnel piercing the island and leading to underground magma.

With nothing else to occupy his time, Sun Cheng decided to pull out an Energon Cube from the Spherical Space and delve into its study.

Some time ago, Sun Cheng had returned alone to Base Two and repaired his mechanical body. Originally, he had planned to leave two Energon Cubes for Atlas and the others to study. However, his Decepticon engineering staff had no spare time for researching Energon Cube manufacturing techniques. Now, Sun Cheng had to figure it out himself, bit by bit.

Atlas and his team were indeed very busy at the moment, and it was likely that even the construction of Sun Cheng's new mechanical body would have to be postponed for some time before they could design and manufacture it.

Over a month ago, Doctor, the most famous Decepticon and the prototype for all medical spiders, whose true name was Scalpel, had perished at the hands of Bumblebee while trying to extract fragmentary information from Sam, the boy who had once been attacked by Decepticons on U.S. soil.

Frenzy's memory contained records of Scalpel's involvement in many experiments conducted by Starscream and Shockwave. Sun Cheng believed that the experiences and knowledge within Scalpel's memory chip could be of assistance to the Decepticon engineers at Base Two, who were struggling to master the mass production of Decepticons. Therefore, he awakened a sleeper agent in the city where Sam resided, instructing him to steal Scalpel's head and return it to Base Two.

This decision had undoubtedly been the correct one.

When Sun Cheng had returned not long ago, Atlas and his team had made a qualitative leap in their technology for cultivating new Decepticons. With a few more experiments, they should be able to master the technique of mass-producing new Decepticons.

Furthermore, from Scalpel's memory chip, Atlas and his team had discovered a technology Sun Cheng had long desired—humanoid Decepticons.
