Compared to the overbearing style of the Skytiger Legion, Sun Cheng was undoubtedly much more low-key.

Moreover, they were searching for something on Terindad Island, which could attract unwanted attention. Sun Cheng had even declined the previous proposal from the Decepticon engineer to create a temporary accident to make the Brazilian Navy soldiers on the island and the Oceans Station disappear.

As they approached Terindad Island, Sun Cheng had Hynix transform back into its combat form, and the group quietly landed on a remote corner of the island.

"Master, please follow this way..."

As Sun Cheng and his group approached Terindad Island, the Decepticon engineers on the island had already been notified and came out to greet them.

"Yes!"

Sun Cheng nodded, and the group walked between the steep valleys on the island, soon arriving at the base of Terindad Peak, the second-highest peak on the northwest side of the island.

In the shadow on the backside of the mountain at the foot, a cave about ten meters wide and twenty meters high was not particularly conspicuous for a mountain nearly six hundred meters high.

This cave was the result of over two months of work by a Decepticon engineer and a team of workers, commanding over a hundred robots.

However, for Hynix, who stood over thirty meters tall, entering and exiting was still quite challenging.

Fortunately, most of the mountain had been hollowed out, so once inside, the space was relatively spacious.

Swindle followed behind the stooped Hynix and was not at all conspicuous as the Decepticons walked deeper into the cave.

He seemed very interested in everything Sun Cheng was doing, constantly looking left and right, hardly pausing at all.

However, Sun Cheng didn't pay much attention to it.

This base on Terindad Island was just a small one.

Of this scale, there were more than forty of them within South America, all relying on the increasingly massive Base Two.

Most of these small bases were established in resource-rich and remote areas for the convenience of mining, smelting, and manufacturing components on-site by Base Two.

"Have you found what you're looking for?"

Sun Cheng asked the Decepticon engineer in charge of this small base.

The engineer looked somewhat anxious, "Master, we've used the detectors to search the entire island several times, but we still haven't found any strange energy fluctuations!"

Sun Cheng frowned slightly. The one responsible for screening islands based on the information left by the Beast General was the intelligent computer system of Base Two, known as Mirage.

He had some trust in Mirage's computational ability and intelligence. Mirage's judgment was not solely based on a comparison of Earth's latitude and longitude maps but also relied on a wealth of data on the island's geological environment, soil and rock composition, and so on, all gathered from humans.

Even when the number of islands had been narrowed down to just over a dozen, Mirage had specifically notified Atlas to arrange for drones and workers to go to the island to collect data for further comparison.

Otherwise, relying solely on Mirage's computational power, which far surpassed all supercomputers on Earth combined and then multiplied by a factor, it would have been impossible to spend several months confirming that Terindad Island was the one Sun Cheng was looking for, just over two months ago.

Although Mirage didn't state it categorically, it believed that Terindad Island had the highest match rate with the island mentioned by Sun Cheng, approximately 87.11%.

"Have all areas been searched thoroughly? What about underground?"

"Lord Atlas specially designed a new type of underground detector. We buried eleven detection probes on the island, extending the detection depth to 171 meters underground, but we still haven't found any strong electromagnetic or abnormal energy fluctuations!"

"Could we have been mistaken about the location?"

Hearing his engineer's response, Sun Cheng couldn't help but start to doubt.

He had previously reviewed the data Mirage had compiled about Terindad Island. Since its formation, the underwater volcano on the island had not erupted again. For hundreds of thousands of years, it had likely remained in its original state.

At a depth of 171 meters underground, although the island had some naturally formed caves, they were neither large nor deep, and there were no signs of human excavation.

The thought that the item mentioned by the Beast General had already been discovered and taken away crossed his mind but was promptly dismissed by Sun Cheng himself.

"It's impossible. The Beast General is a subordinate of Primus Onyx Prime. He discovered Decepticons loyal to Lord Fallen on Earth before his life was about to end. Even if he had left that item on the island, it wouldn't be without any protective measures!"

But on a relatively small volcanic island, where could something be hidden?

Lost in thought, Sun Cheng and his group soon passed through a tunnel that was about a hundred meters long and entered a massive hall deep within the mountain.

Terindad Mountain was named after the island itself, and it was located near the center of the island. So, although it wasn't the highest peak on the island, it was named after the island.

Thanks to the efforts of Decepticon engineers and robots, in the past two months, the mountain, which wasn't very tall to begin with, had been hollowed out almost completely.

The hall was only the largest space within the mountain, about fifty meters high, filled with generators and other equipment used on the island. When Sun Cheng and his group arrived, the hall seemed a bit chaotic.

Fortunately, the space here was large enough not to hinder their movements.

"We need to stay here temporarily to hide from Lord Fallen!" Sun Cheng said to Swindle, who was curiously looking around. This excuse was unquestionable, at least according to Forerunner and Thunder.

"I understand, Master!" Forerunner and Thunder replied first and then called a worker before wandering around.

Hynix scratched his head. He wanted to explore as well, but his mechanical body was too tall. He had to stoop when walking in the corridor, which made him very uncomfortable.

After some thought, he decided to stay in the spacious hall. The not-so-bright guy found a spot and sat down, resembling a small mountain.

"When do you plan to contact Lockdown?" Sun Cheng asked Swindle.

Swindle hesitated for a moment. "Well... you know, these wanderers are all without a fixed abode. I can't even guarantee that this guy, who's still a part-time bounty hunter, is still alive."

A mechanical life that did not participate in the civil war should have a longer lifespan than most Autobots and Decepticons. Especially since he was a highly capable arms dealer and bounty hunter, Sun Cheng suspected that Lockdown still had a good chance of being alive.

This time, when he returned to Base Two, he would soon mobilize everyone to design a new mechanical body for himself. He had realized during the confrontation with Lord Fallen that the technology and weapons he currently possessed were unlikely to harm these Primus, and the threat to the Leader was very limited.

To avoid such a precarious situation in the future, the new mechanical body must have the capability to kill or severely injure the Leader. Therefore, he had to address this issue during the design phase of the new mechanical body.

Swindle and Lockdown were crucial to this plan!
