After Sun Cheng took Jazz's half-mechanical body as a trophy following the battle in Las Vegas, all the secrets of this former Autobot leader's elite lieutenant were revealed to him.

Although Sun Cheng only had half of Jazz's mechanical body, it was the most valuable upper torso.

Through extensive scanning and research, Atlas had thoroughly analyzed every component of Jazz's mechanical body and had the reference of design plans provided by Onslaught.

Therefore, the current mechanical body before him, while not the best, was the most suitable choice for Sun Cheng.

He carefully examined the projected mechanical body on the device's surface, comparing all the data with the design information stored in his own Core. After confirming there were no issues, a slight smile appeared on Sun Cheng's face.

"Is the design flawless? Have all the components been manufactured?"

Despite the quality of the projection being virtual data, Sun Cheng understood this, but he also knew that Atlas wouldn't have just brought him here to view the projection.

As expected, right after he voiced his question, Sun Cheng noticed a smug smile appearing on Atlas's face.

However, Atlas didn't answer him directly.

Instead, he extended his hand and lightly tapped on the device's outer wall.

In the next moment, the large-scale device in front of Sun Cheng underwent another transformation.

"Creak..."

A barely audible mechanical sound emanated from within the device.

Sun Cheng shifted his gaze back to the equipment, witnessing the disappearance of the virtual image of his new mechanical body from the workshop inside.

In its place, sets of tools extended from both sides of the device. Simultaneously, eight robot-like machines, resembling the intelligent storage robots in Amazon's warehouses, swiftly transported various items into the workshop beneath the equipment.

Sun Cheng fixed his gaze, his smile growing wider.

These small and medium-sized robots, specifically designed for transporting goods, had delivered an assortment of finished metal ingots!

He glanced at Atlas but refrained from saying much.

It was evident that this engineer had gone to great lengths to impress him in order to claim credit.

Given the circumstances, Sun Cheng was intrigued to see what this individual was capable of.

Without further delay, mechanical arms resembling squid tentacles emerged swiftly from the top of the device.

Some of the agile and precise arms retrieved a metal ingot from the cargo robot's basket, while others were responsible for securing it. Some initiated scans and began transmitting material data into the device.

After receiving feedback from sets of data, changes began to occur at the tips of some robotic arms.

Some emitted lasers to cut metal ingots, some transformed into drill knives for intricate carving, some were responsible for grinding, and others for polishing...

Under the highly efficient performance of this device, small components of the mechanical body were quickly manufactured, one after another.

Sun Cheng observed the device constructed by Atlas with great interest and nodded slightly.

This thing wasn't really innovative!

The concept of 3D printing, and similar ideas, had long been proposed and envisioned by humans in the cutting-edge field of precision industrial manufacturing, whether in the real world or the world he currently inhabited. Some talented individuals had even successfully turned those concepts into reality.

The machine before him was a device for manufacturing engineer-made mechanical bodies, applying the concept of 3D printing, but with more advanced technology than humans.

After attentively watching the robotic arms working inside the device for a while, Sun Cheng soon grew impatient and couldn't bear to stand here any longer.

He turned to Atlas and asked again, "How long will it take to complete all the components?"

"Master, your new mechanical body consists of a total of 1.74 million pieces. It will take thirty-seven hours to complete them all..."

Atlas cautiously glanced at him, not perceiving any signs of anger or impatience on his face. Only then did he breathe a sigh of relief and hurriedly responded.

"Thirty-seven hours..."

Sun Cheng fell silent. For the mechanical beings with theoretically endless lifespans as long as their energy didn't deplete, such a duration was truly inconsequential.

Considering Atlas's desire to gain recognition, it wasn't surprising that he hurriedly came over to claim credit for the mechanical body before it was even completed.

Thirty-seven hours was indeed a short time for the mechanical lifeforms.

However, Sun Cheng had no intention of remaining here to witness the entire process.

Once the new mechanical body was manufactured, his Core and Spark needed to be transferred from his current mechanical body to the new one.

The entire process wouldn't take too long—shortest being around ten minutes, and the longest a few hours—to complete.

However, Sun Cheng had already experienced it once before with Onslaught.

During the time when the Core and Spark were detached from the old mechanical body and transferred to the new one, he would lose all consciousness and be as weak as a defenseless baby.

In other words, before embracing his new life, he would face an extremely risky test.

Though everything was under Sun Cheng's control within the No. 2 base, it was only when he was conscious.

Therefore, it was necessary to remain vigilant and adequately prepared.

"Dust Up... I really brought myself quite a bit of trouble..."

His brows furrowed imperceptibly as he thought about the timed bomb planted beside him in the No. 2 base, which could explode at any moment.

Sun Cheng couldn't help but feel somewhat agitated because he had personally planted that timed bomb. However, he quickly pushed aside these concerns in his mind.

It was too late to regret now, and besides, a high-ranking Decepticon warrior like Dust Up was not someone he could cultivate in a short period of time. He couldn't bear to let go of such a valuable subordinate.

He had no choice but to stop dwelling on these thoughts and began contemplating how to arrange security measures to ensure his own absolute safety.

Sun Cheng naturally didn't reveal his thoughts, and after glancing up at the enormous device that was currently constructing a new mechanical body for him, he spoke to Atlas, "Thirty-seven hours, huh? I still have some matters to attend to, so I won't wait here... Atlas, remember to notify me once the new mechanical body is finished... Oh, by the way... Have you completed the items I asked you to make last time? If they're done, send a team of robots to deliver them to my laboratory later..."

"Yes, master. I will make the arrangements..."
