An unprecedented fear struck, and Mudflap's face was filled with panic.

He pleaded with Sun Cheng in a loud voice, "Wait, you can't kill me..."

With slightly narrowed eyes, Sun Cheng naturally noticed Mudflap's subtle movements just now.

After all, although Decepticons and Autobots have different emergency communication methods, they share a common aspect—using special radio waves to transmit information.

Therefore, even though Sun Cheng couldn't understand the exact content of Mudflap's recent communication, he couldn't overlook his subtle actions.

As Core reacted and detected the presence of two battle robots in the vicinity, Sun Cheng calmly issued a command through Core for them to hide and be on guard. He then subtly shifted his position to block Mudflap's line of sight.

The irritable Ironhide had unwittingly walked into his electromagnetic trap. Sun Cheng had tampered with all the passageways leading from the launch silo to the base, installing numerous high-powered electromagnetic interference devices.

Fear of electromagnetic interference was a vulnerability for nearly all mechanical beings. It not only affected their control over their mechanical bodies but also had the potential to destroy their Cores.

While some powerful mechanical beings could resist such interference, most were defenseless against it.

Once Ironhide fell into Sun Cheng's electromagnetic trap, even if he managed to escape, it would take considerable time.

Thus, Sun Cheng looked at Mudflap with great interest, with his plasma cannon still firmly pressed against Mudflap's forehead.

"Autobot, what makes a despicable creature like you think your life is worth sparing..."

Seemingly sensing the unmistakable murderous intent in Sun Cheng's eyes, Mudflap finally grew panicked.

"You can't kill me... Ironhide and the others have already surrounded this place. If you kill me, you'll die here too..."

This guy had some issues with his intelligence!

Sun Cheng felt somewhat disappointed. He had hoped to extract some information about the Autobots from Mudflap, but given Mudflap's level of intelligence, he realized he wouldn't obtain any more of the information he desired.

In that moment, Sun Cheng sneered and lifted Mudflap, raising him to eye level before saying, "It seems you've wasted one chance to save your life, you lowly Autobot... I'll give you a final opportunity to convince me not to kill you!"

Before the words had fully left his mouth, Sun Cheng's face suddenly contorted, and with great force, he tore off Mudflap's right arm and flung it far away.

"Ah..."

Mudflap cried out in pain and struggled, as his arm had been forcefully ripped off.

"Listen up, crawler..." Sun Cheng grinned and brought his head close to his own, "My patience is very limited. You have ten seconds to convince me or let your Spark become my prize!"

His cold-hearted approach truly embodied the essence of a Decepticon.

In an instant, Mudflap was completely terrified.

Trembling, he looked at Sun Cheng, panic evident on his face. "Don't... don't kill me. I'm willing to join the Decepticons."

"Oh?"

Sun Cheng narrowed his eyes, involuntarily glancing at him.

Since the birth of the Decepticons and the Autobots, during the millions of years of the prolonged civil war, there had been numerous instances of individuals defecting to the opposing faction. The majority of defectors came from the Autobot camp, with only a few originating from the Decepticons.

This was not surprising, given that the Decepticons had consistently dominated the Autobots throughout the war.

With Megatron's formidable power and the terrifying military strategies of Shockwave, the Decepticons ultimately emerged victorious in the Cybertron Civil War, driving the Autobots' remaining resistance force out of Cybertron.

However!

Mechanical beings are no different from humans in that both Autobots and Decepticons have zero tolerance for traitors.

In the past, Shockwave personally established an assassination unit to eliminate traitors who defected from the Decepticons to the Autobot camp.

The Autobots were no exception.

As the intelligence specialist of the Autobots, Bumblebee had always been assigned the task of assassinating Autobot traitors. Consequently, few traitors from either faction managed to survive over the course of millions of years, and Decepticons like Barricade were a rare exception.

Sun Cheng's gaze lingered on Mudflap's face for a moment, and he detected the flicker in his eyes, realizing that this individual was merely stalling for time, awaiting rescue.

"Join the Decepticons?"

A cold smile appeared at the corner of his mouth as he quickly issued a more chilling and ruthless command, "Very well, reptile. I accept your allegiance. Now, immediately disarm yourself and lay bare everything you have to me!"

"No... I genuinely want to join the Decepticons... Please believe me..."

Observing Mudflap's increasingly panicked expression and his body struggling out of fear, Sun Cheng's face grew more menacing. "What's the matter? Are you still waiting for Ironhide to come and save you? Let me inform you—Ironhide has fallen into my electromagnetic trap. Even if he doesn't die, he will be skinned alive! No one can rescue you now!"

After finishing his words, he coldly raised the plasma cannon in his hand and pressed it firmly against Mudflap's head.

"The last ten seconds for contemplation—either open up to me or face death..."

"Please... please believe me..."

"10..."

"I am telling the truth..."

"9..."

"My lord, I..."

"8..."

In the cold and emotionless countdown.

Finally, when Sun Cheng reached the count of 3, Mudflap twisted his face and forcefully smashed his head against Sun Cheng's face. Simultaneously, Mudflap's still-functional left arm fiercely grabbed his plasma cannon.

"Hmph!"

With a cold snort, Sun Cheng, who had been wary of Mudflap, effortlessly blocked the head with his left hand.

"Do you think I ever believed what you said? Reptile..."

With a grimace on his face, tightly gripped Mudflap's head with his left arm, and Sun Cheng immediately tore it off the mechanical body.

As Sun Cheng noticed his left hand, which was still struggling to seize the plasma cannon from his right arm, suddenly stiffen, a thought crossed his mind. He swiftly collected the mechanical body of Mudflap, which he had been holding in his hand, into a spherical compartment.

Autobot warrior Mudflap has been defeated!

Gently grasping the slightly deformed head of Mudflap with his left hand, Sun Cheng brought it in front of him, relishing its contorted expression and the curve of its mouth.

"A good spoil, not in vain did I waste two energy bombs!"

Just as he was about to store it in the spherical compartment, a roar of an engine suddenly emerged from deep within the adjacent corridor.

Instinctively, Sun Cheng turned his head and looked towards the depths of the passageway.

Although his line of sight didn't detect anything, Core, through several monitors arranged within the corridor, captured the image of a silver-gray sports car rapidly approaching.

His eyebrows furrowed lightly, and Sun Cheng quickly compared the figure with the data stored in his memory. His expression suddenly changed.

"Sideswipe?! Damn it!"

Swiftly storing Mudflap's head in the spherical compartment, Sun Cheng didn't waste any time and turned to flee. At the same time, Core immediately issued orders to the two combat robots that had been lurking nearby.

"Use any means necessary to eliminate the intruders!"

After issuing the command, without looking back, Sun Cheng fled towards a concealed passage located at the other end of the base.
