Sun Cheng's ears perked up as he heard several consecutive sounds of branches snapping nearby, causing his heart to sink.

"Oh no, there are two... no, three people... Could they be the ones who sneaked onto the island to hunt dinosaurs?"

His mind worked quickly, realizing that even if he had ordered revenge, he might be in danger himself.

After thinking for a moment, he sternly reprimanded, "Who are you? Don't you know that Isla Nublar is a private island?"

He spoke in English, just as the man who had captured him had done before.

However, to Sun Cheng's surprise, after hearing his reprimand, the man who had captured him let out a cold smile and exerted even more force, gripping his arm tightly like an iron clamp. With just one hand, he lifted Sun Cheng from the ground and pressed him against a nearby tree trunk.

"Enough with the talk. Now I'm going to ask you, who are you? And why were you wandering outside on a stormy night..."

Although his cheek stung from the rough tree bark, it actually gave Sun Cheng a convenient opportunity. He glanced around with his peripheral vision and quickly assessed the situation. "Nine people, no, a total of ten! Wow, their equipment suggests they are not ordinary individuals!"

Since returning to the real world after being dragged into a different dimension, Sun Cheng had developed an interest in military equipment from various countries. With just a quick glance, he recognized the military knives, weapons, and various accessories worn on their waists and chests as all being of American origin. The camouflage paint on their faces seemed more fitting for soldiers than poachers.

This left him uncertain, so he decided to continue with his previous tone, without reducing his voice, "Who do you think you are? A group of armed thieves sneaking onto a private island, and yet you dare to question my identity. It seems the island's security has indeed been compromised, otherwise, it wouldn't have allowed you poachers to break in!"

Sun Cheng took a gamble. From the equipment of this group, he sensed a military presence and wanted to test them with his words, to probe their true identity.

Swish!

A sharp dagger instantly pierced into the tree trunk right in front of Sun Cheng. The blade almost touched his face, sending a shiver down his spine.

Sun Cheng's heart sank, thinking that he might have guessed wrong. He instinctively touched the camera-shaped Revenge hanging from his chest, ready to transform back into it at any moment, as he became extremely cautious.

However, just at that moment, another man's voice suddenly sounded, and Sun Cheng could faintly detect a hint of a smile in his voice. "Billy, let him go. After all, we're here to save people, not to kill."

With the sound of this deep laughter, the man who had been restraining him finally released his grip.

Sun Cheng exhaled slightly and let out a grunt as he turned around, his first glance aimed at the man who had captured him earlier.

He was a tall and robust soldier, with camouflage paint on his face. However, one could vaguely make out that he was around thirty-four or thirty-five years old, judging by the lines on his face and his tanned complexion, suggesting some Native American heritage.

As if sensing Sun Cheng's glare, the soldier known as 'Billy' pulled out the dagger that he had plunged into the tree trunk and grinned at him. However, his eyes remained emotionless throughout.

"A soldier? Probably a special forces soldier!"

Having fought numerous battles against American soldiers in the other world, Sun Cheng had encountered not only regular soldiers but also a fair share of special forces soldiers who had met their demise at his hands. Therefore, upon sensing this familiar aura, he immediately had some speculation about the identity of this group of people.

"Who are you? Why did you trespass on Isla Nublar?"

Although he was released, Sun Cheng knew that his current situation was not good. He decided to take the initiative, still wearing a somewhat indignant expression on his face, as if he hadn't noticed that he was now surrounded by the sudden appearance of this team of special forces.

"Ptui!"

A mouthful of thick saliva was spat towards Sun Cheng's feet. Following the direction, Sun Cheng saw a rough man with a mustache. When he noticed Sun Cheng looking at him, the man smiled and took a dry straw leaf from his pocket, stuffed it into his mouth, and began to chew, causing a strong tobacco smell to spread.

"Disgusting habit..."

A thin white soldier gave him a disdainful look. He was wearing glasses and seemed talkative. He directly asked Sun Cheng, "Sir, we are on a search and rescue mission. An aircraft has gone missing in the nearby waters. Due to the storm, we had to temporarily evacuate to the island..."

Would a search and rescue team be fully armed, with not only guns but also Vulcan Cannons, grenade launchers, and other heavy weapons?

Sun Cheng didn't believe a word of this statement, but the fact that they were willing to communicate was a good thing.

He quickly suppressed his indignation and carefully examined the group of people before reluctantly nodding and saying, "Don't blame me for not warning you. This is a private island. Leave immediately. It's very dangerous here now!"

As he spoke, he deliberately glanced at the weapons in their hands and sighed.

Perhaps his acting wasn't convincing enough, as his demeanor provoked laughter from the team. Sun Cheng noticed that the tallest and most robust man in the group, who had a fierce look on his face, was also smiling as he looked at him. He asked in a deep voice, "What's happening on the island? It's late, and it's pouring rain. Why are you still wandering outside?"

This man was about 1.9 meters tall and had a smile on his face, but the terrifying muscles barely concealed beneath his transparent clothes were enough to send chills down one's spine.

Sun Cheng hesitated for a moment before answering, "There are poachers on the island. A dinosaur died this afternoon, and just before dinner, a team of security personnel on the island suddenly lost contact. Gunshots were heard before the communication was cut off..."

"Dinosaurs?"

It was the thin white soldier with glasses. As soon as Sun Cheng finished speaking, he couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Are there still monsters on the island?"

"Ignorance!"

Sun Cheng looked at him indifferently and said, "This island belongs to the owner of International Genetic Technologies, John Hammond. The company was established in 1983 and is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, USA. It has mastered the world's most advanced genetic technology. The company has previously revived the North American passenger pigeon in 1987, the American marten in 1991, the Steller's sea cow in 1994, and the Atlas bear in 1999. It is a technology company with the highest level of genetic engineering. Recently, the company has successfully revived dinosaurs, and now the island is filled with these prehistoric monsters!"

After finishing his words, he immediately showed signs of annoyance and glanced at the group of people. In a cold voice, he said, "If you don't want to die, leave quickly. The island's security system has malfunctioned. The gates to the villa area suddenly closed, and a pack of velociraptors is just a few kilometers away from here. It's too dangerous for us to stay!"

Having said that, he tried to push aside a tall and strong black soldier who was blocking his way, but the soldier remained motionless in front of Sun Cheng.

This test immediately gave him a clear understanding that the seemingly special forces soldiers who appeared out of nowhere did not believe his words and might not be as easy to deal with as they appeared.

With a hint of impatience on his face, Sun Cheng glared at the black soldier blocking him and said, "If you want to die, don't drag me into it. If we don't leave now, it will be too late!"

As Sun Cheng looked at the special forces soldiers, whose origins were unknown and who showed no intention of letting him go, he was contemplating what his next move should be when suddenly, a sharp and peculiar beast roar echoed from the distance.

Billy, the Native American soldier who had first captured Sun Cheng, had a dramatic change in his expression. He raised his firearm in the direction where the roar came from and became alert.
