Immortal Path Space : Table of Content/Chapter List

XXX-----XXX-----XXX-----XXX

Several days later, Wang Hong once again entered the Space and found that the piece of Ore had shrunk considerably, now reduced to a small chunk about the size of an egg.

Moving aside the Ore, he uncovered the iron lump once again. The sprouting point on it had grown larger, changing from the size of a needle tip to that of a green bean.

It appeared to be no illusion; this iron lump could indeed absorb Ore and grow on its own.

Now that he was certain of this, he gathered several types of Ore materials.

He dug a large pit inside the Space, threw these materials into it, and placed the iron lump in the center, covering it with Space soil.

After more than a month had passed, though only a few days had gone by in Space, Wang Hong entered it once again and went to the spot where he had planted the iron lump.

He found that a thick shoot had sprouted from the ground, only a few inches tall, with its leaves folded together, yet to unfurl.

Though it resembled a young shoot, it bore no resemblance to any typical plant. Its entire body was pitch black and incredibly hard, as if it had been forged from metal.

He extended his Divine Sense along this new shoot, and he sensed that besides the sprouting shoot, many roots had also grown from the iron lump he had buried earlier.

These roots resembled rigid metallic threads, piercing through pieces of Ore.

Most of the Ore he had buried in the soil had already been absorbed, leaving behind only some mineral residue, which was gradually assimilating with the Space soil.

A portion of the Ore was gradually disappearing, and some Ore seemed impervious to absorption.

He dug up the unaffected Ore and realized that none of it was metallic in nature.

Since he had discovered the absorption pattern of this iron tree, he once again buried some metallic Ore at its roots.

After burying these materials, he had an idea. He retrieved a piece of refined iron from the Space warehouse and buried it in the soil as well.

After some thought, he also buried a slightly damaged Magic weapon.

Since it could absorb Ore, these fully refined metallic materials and Magic weapons that had undergone refinement should also be absorbable.

Having buried these items, he left the Space and waited for the next changes to occur.

A month later, Wang Hong returned to the Space once more.

Now, the small shoot had grown to nearly seven to eight inches in height, with its leaves fully unfolded, displaying three black leaves with distinct visible veins.

However, these leaves were as hard as iron, resembling copper-cast metal.

Divine Sense revealed that the previously buried Ore materials had all been absorbed, including the piece of refined iron, which had disappeared entirely.

Only the partially damaged Magic weapon remained, with about half of it still intact.

It seemed that Magic weapons could also be absorbed, perhaps because they had formations on them or their materials were of a higher tier, causing their absorption rate to be slower.

Once again, he dug up the soil beneath, this time increasing the quantity of Ore and metallic materials he added. He was curious to see what this peculiar plant would eventually become and what functions it might possess.

In the following months, Wang Hong continued to add various types of Ore materials to it every month.

This strange plant absorbed a significant amount of his materials and grew rapidly. In just a year, it had grown into a thirty-foot-tall iron tree.

Aside from its iron-like texture, this iron tree had another characteristic – it not only absorbed a large quantity of spiritual materials but also absorbed the Spiritual Qi from the Space.

However, this tree showed no signs of Spiritual Qi on its surface, much like the Spiritual Herbs found in the Desolate Spirit Sea.

He had once painstakingly plucked a leaf from it and used the Space for identification, only to find that the material of this leaf was unlike any he had known. It had no connection to any of the various materials he had thrown into the Space earlier, including any Spirit Stones.

Since it seemed to grow regardless of the material used, Wang Hong naturally chose the most economical materials for it.

To this end, Wang Hong sought out Xu Lun and obtained a large quantity of low-tier Ore and materials from him. These low-tier materials were readily available in the Fengwu Continent and could be easily acquired with some Spirit Stones.

"Your Majesty! After a year of effort, we have gathered a substantial amount of supplies, ready to be transported to the Southern Region of Hezhou at any time. Here is the inventory list," Xu Lun reported to Wang Hong in the Great Hall, handing him a list of supplies.

Wang Hong briefly glanced at the list, noticing that the majority of the items were Pills. Many of these Pills were rare in the Hezhou continent, such as the Foundation Establishment Pill and Golden Core Pill, both of which were crucial for cultivation.

Among them, there were twenty thousand Foundation Establishment Pills alone. If used wisely, they could potentially double the number of Foundation Building Cultivators in the Southern Region.

In reality, these Pills were all refined by the Alchemists of the Great Chu Immortal Nation. Some of the raw materials were purchased from the Fengwu Continent, while a significant portion was produced within Wang Hong's Space.

Currently, the Great Chu Immortal Nation had a massive daily flow of various goods, and it had become a challenge for individuals to keep track of their accounts. Wang Hong had added numerous Spiritual Herbs from his Space, and apart from meticulous scrutiny of the general accounts, he couldn't pinpoint the source of the additional Spiritual Herbs.

Besides the Foundation Establishment Pill and Golden Core Pill, there were many second and third-tier Pills on the list, which were rare to find in the Hezhou continent.

Additionally, there were abundant Magical Weapons, Magic Weapons, and various other supplies, all of which were finished products manufactured by the workshops of the Great Chu Immortal Nation.

Wang Hong also noticed some transport Flying Boats on the list. These Flying Boats had been modified to be operational, but if anyone tried to dismantle them, they would self-destruct immediately.

"Excellent! Since these goods are ready, let's transport them to the Southern Region of Hezhou as soon as possible. Leaving them in the warehouse would only cause a backlog and hinder our resource recovery," Wang Hong declared.

Despite the fact that these goods were all refined by their own workshops, they still consumed a substantial amount of resources to purchase raw materials. Moreover, the Refining Tool Masters, Alchemists, and Spirit Meal Masters also required wages.

The Great Chu Immortal Nation was conducting such a massive business for the first time, and the initial investment had nearly exhausted the nation's resources. After all, while the Great Chu Immortal Nation was wealthy, the Hezhou Southern Region's Cultivation World was many times larger in scale.

"Zhang Chunfeng, Jia Liang, the two of you select twenty Fourth-tier Warriors or Nascent Soul Cultivators. Additionally, each of you will lead fifty thousand troops to safely escort these supplies to the Hezhou continent until the transaction is completed. Xu Lun, you will also go, and bring a few others with you to handle the negotiations with the five major Sects."

"Understood! We will not disappoint Your Majesty's trust!" The three of them accepted the orders but felt the weight of responsibility on their shoulders.

They were well aware that this batch of supplies was massive and included all the assets of the Great Chu Immortal Nation. If these supplies were lost, it would likely render a decade's worth of effort in vain.
