The eight fourth-tier Demonic Beasts had just been struck by lightning, leaving their bodies numb and unable to recover. Before they could regain their senses, one of the Demonic Beasts had already been chopped in half.

It was only after the Demonic Beast was slain that Liu Changsheng revealed himself. He summoned a sparkling spiritual light net, capturing the Demonic Beast's corpse and its Golden Core together.

Having previously cooperated with Jia Liang, he recognized the opportunity for some shrewd dealings when he saw Jia Liang using this move again, so he quietly approached.

However, this time, Jia Liang hadn't completely exhausted himself and didn't need Liu Changsheng's assistance.

Although Jia Liang felt as though his body had been hollowed out, he believed that with some medicine, he could still fight. He retrieved a Pill from his Storage Bag, popped it into his mouth, and immediately felt a surge of strength.

"Chen Xiaofeng didn't deceive me!" Jia Liang muttered to himself. This Pill had cost him a fortune, specially concocted by Chen Xiaofeng for him.

With one successful strike, Liu Changsheng attacked another nearby fourth-tier Demonic Beast. He didn't expect much from this strike but hoped to make the most of his opportunities.

As expected, his attack was intercepted by a single horn beast that flew in from a distance, and a battle ensued between the black blade and the single horn beast.

However, at this very moment, a massive black cauldron descended from the sky and immediately engulfed one of the fourth-tier Demonic Beasts.

"Hahaha! You bastard, I've been craving your flesh for a long time."

Sloppy Old Daoist had a voracious appetite, and his Lifebound Magical Treasure was a Large Black Cauldron. This cauldron could both attack and defend, making it perfect for capturing enemies.

He had long desired this particular fourth-tier Demonic Beast, even coming up with several recipes for it. Finally, he had the chance to make it his!

Meanwhile, the remaining six fourth-tier Demonic Beasts had fully recovered and were furious. They joined the battle again, with a particular focus on Jia Liang, who had put them in a perilous situation earlier, nearly costing them their lives. Now, they were determined to devour him.

Liu Changsheng was engaged in a fierce battle with the single horn beast and was at a disadvantage. Currently, it was a challenging situation with only Sloppy Old Daoist and Jia Liang holding their ground against these six Demonic Beasts.

As the Nascent Soul battle unfolded here, the entire Great Chu Immortal Nation's army gradually broke free from the encirclement.

At this critical moment, the entire population of Great Chu Immortal Nation unleashed their formidable combat power. When the Demon Subduing Army returned to support the rear, the ordinary citizens armed themselves and repeatedly repelled the Beast Tide attacks.

Wang Hong led the army out of the encirclement created by the Beast Tide, advancing dozens of miles ahead. However, Liu Changsheng and the others had not yet caught up with the rest of the army.

"Xu Lun, you're responsible for leading the troops to continue westward. I'll go back to provide assistance," Wang Hong instructed.

After a few words, Wang Hong transformed into a rainbow light and flew back to the battlefield. When he arrived, he saw Liu Changsheng and the others in a precarious situation, with their lives hanging in the balance.

Fortunately, Wang Hong had given each of them a magical leaf-shaped weapon earlier, which had saved their lives on multiple occasions.

Wang Hong flew closer and threw out a red pearl, targeting the seven Demonic Beasts present.

"You guys run first; I'll cover the rear!" he declared.

The seven pearls exploded, releasing a burst of golden flames that targeted the seven Demonic Beasts. Taking advantage of the distraction, Liu Changsheng and his companions quickly retreated to Wang Hong's side.

"Run!" With a roar from Wang Hong, all four of them sped westward.

While they could hold their own against seven opponents, they couldn't afford to delay the retreat of their army any longer.

The seven Demonic Beasts were not willing to give up and continued to chase after them. However, every time they closed in, Wang Hong would throw out a red pearl to deter them.

In reality, these few Demonic Beasts knew that even if they caught up, they wouldn't gain much advantage. However, they had reinforcements on the way, especially the Eastern Sea Demon Clan, which would arrive in a few days. If they could delay the Human Clan now, they might eliminate the threat permanently. Otherwise, even if this group of Human Clan members escaped for now, they might return to cause trouble later.

So, the Demonic Beasts stopped rushing and instead hung back behind the Human Clan, waiting for the arrival of their reinforcements.

After catching up with the forward team, Wang Hong and his companions noticed the pursuers behind them. However, whenever they attempted to engage, the pursuers would retreat, only to return later, making it impossible to shake them off. Eventually, they decided to ignore them.

After traveling for some time, they released all the transportation Flying Boats they had, allowing everyone to cram inside. Despite the smooth progress made during the earlier breakout, they had lost more than two hundred thousand people, leaving only eight hundred thousand.

The combined capacity of all the Flying Boats could accommodate only seven hundred thousand people, but they managed to squeeze everyone in.

Once they were all on board the Flying Boats, their speed increased significantly. Within two days, they reached the Boundary Mountain Range and continued south along its edge.

This route had no major forces or obstacles, making their journey relatively smooth.

With just one more day of travel, they would reach the coast, where they could cross the sea and escape.

However, on that very day, the pursuers that had been trailing them suddenly caught up. Their courage seemed to have grown, and they likely had some kind of backup.

Wang Hong and the other four Nascent Soul Cultivators guarded the rear of the formation, waiting for the pursuers to arrive.

When the Demonic Beasts finally caught up, their numbers had increased significantly, and Wang Hong recognized the four Eastern Sea Demonic Beasts that had besieged him earlier, particularly the one with a Fish-Faced feature on its face, a formidable fourth-tier high-grade Demonic Beast that Wang Hong considered a formidable opponent.

Wang Hong sent a Message Transmission to instruct Xu Lun to lead the group ahead.

"You three should also leave with the Flying Boats. I alone am enough to hold them off," Wang Hong said.

"Your Majesty, let me stay. If something happens to you, I won't be able to survive either," Liu Changsheng pleaded. He was different from the others; he had a Blood Contract with Wang Hong, which meant that if Wang Hong died, he would follow the same fate.

"Your Majesty, I will stay too!" Sloppy Old Daoist also insisted on staying to assist Wang Hong. Wang Hong had saved him multiple times, and he couldn't let Wang Hong face the powerful enemy alone.

"Count me in. How can I miss a big battle like this?" Jia Liang also expressed his intention to stay.

Just then, a unit of troops separated from the Flying Boat formation. It was the Imperial Dragon Army, led by Skinny Monkey.

"Your Majesty, the duty of the Imperial Dragon Army is to protect you. I cannot abandon you now," Skinny Monkey stated firmly, pleading with Wang Hong.

The Demon Clan was now approaching, and there was no time for further discussion.

Wang Hong took the lead, summoning four red Flying Swords, positioning them in a formation, and preparing to confront the enemy.

Thirty-six green leaves danced around Wang Hong, forming a protective barrier.
