Transferring the population scattered throughout the various regions of the Great Chu Immortal Nation to King's City was no easy task.

In the midst of this undertaking, they faced various difficulties. One aspect was the reluctance to part with the hard-earned possessions they had accumulated over the years, which required persuasion.

Moreover, most of these individuals were mere Mortals, incapable of flying with Immortal instruments and not built to withstand the hardships of travel and relocation.

This necessitated a substantial number of Flying Boats for transportation. Even with the entire fleet of Flying Boats in the Great Chu Immortal Nation mobilized, they could only transport over a hundred thousand people at a time.

Apart from the sheer population, various counties and prefectures across the nation, as well as the operation of Spiritual Sites over the years, had accumulated wealth of their own.

This wealth included Spirit Stones, spirit ore, and various Spiritual materials, quite distinct from what Mortals had in their homes and something that couldn't be simply discarded.

Some had suggested to Wang Hong that they should abandon these Mortals. Currently, these Mortals had no immediate use and were, in fact, a burden.

However, Wang Hong firmly rejected this notion. He stated that everyone was a citizen of the Great Chu Immortal Nation, and as a king, he could not abandon anyone.

Wang Hong's words were resolute and left those who tried to persuade him feeling ashamed.

In fact, at present, aside from high-tier Immortal Cultivators, the grassroots fighting force of the Great Chu Immortal Nation consisted entirely of Mortal warriors.

The entire Demon Subduing Army was composed of Mortal warriors, and the tens of thousands of newly recruited troops were also Mortal warriors.

Most of these warriors were not born into this situation; they had families and friends, and at least a few familiar neighbors.

Abandoning their loved ones and then asking them to go into battle would certainly undermine their morale.

Moreover, Wang Hong had other considerations for these ordinary Mortals.

As the Flying Boats continuously transported people to King's City, there were individuals responsible for receiving them, arranging accommodations, and maintaining records.

While the population was being transported and relocated to King's City, twenty Flying Boats were dedicated to carrying armed warriors outside the city every day.

These Flying Boats were filled with fully armed soldiers.

These soldiers were all recruits from the past few years, although they had undergone years of training, they had not yet experienced real warfare.

The purpose of pulling them out now was to allow them to acclimate to battle in advance, to see blood, and to gain combat experience.

Their target in battle was the Demonic Beasts that had been scattered throughout the Great Chu Immortal Nation, but none of them were high-tier Demonic Beasts, with the highest being only second-tier. However, their combined numbers exceeded the total population of the Great Chu Immortal Nation.

They were dispersed throughout the region, and in normal times, they posed no significant threat.

However, the present circumstances were different. If the Demon Clan were to launch a massive attack, these scattered Demonic Beasts would naturally fall under their control, becoming a force for the Demon Clan.

The goal now was to eliminate all Demonic Beasts within the borders of the Great Chu Immortal Nation before the Demon Clan invaded, leaving not a single one behind.

Regardless of the outcome of this battle, if they emerged victorious, they would naturally obtain more low-tier Demonic Beasts. Conversely, if they were defeated, none of this would matter.

On one of the Flying Boats, Yang Tiezhu sat cross-legged in the boat, accompanied by a young man named Gu Wei.

Ever since witnessing the death of his father, Gu Qingyang, and the disappearance of his mother, the once innocent Gu Wei had suffered a great deal of emotional turmoil.

It took him several years to gradually recover, but his disposition was no longer as cheerful and carefree as before. He had become more somber and melancholic.

Throughout these years, he had been devoted to his cultivation, avoiding contact with outsiders. When he finally reached the peak of Foundation Building, Wang Hong gave him a Golden Core Pill.

He was fortunate, and with the help of the Golden Core Pill, he finally ascended to become a Golden Core Cultivator.

He volunteered to join the military and was now in command of ten thousand new recruits. Today, it was the turn of the ten-thousand-strong force under his leadership to go into battle.

As for Yang Tiezhu, she joined the battle out of friendship, to support Gu Wei.

"Xiao Wei, there's no need to be nervous. There isn't even a single third-tier Demonic Beast among these Demon Clan members. You have ten thousand soldiers under your command. Just organize them into formation, and a single charge will scatter them," Yang Tiezhu reassured him.

"I'm not nervous at all. It's just that you keep saying it's my first time, and you insist on giving me advice," Gu Wei denied being nervous.

"Alright! You've grown quite bold; how about we spar later?" Yang Tiezhu, with her adorable baby face, smirked.

Gu Wei was scared by his words and quickly retracted his statement, admitting he was indeed nervous.

He couldn't understand how he had somehow gotten involved with this baby-faced humanoid Demonic Beast. In any case, they had ended up spending a lot of time together, and to his dismay, Gu Wei couldn't beat her in a fight. The once fiery youth had finally come to terms with reality after multiple defeats and could no longer muster any resistance.

It took a full day for the twenty Flying Boats to transport them to their destination. After dropping them off, the Flying Boats turned around and left. There were still several groups of ten-thousand-strong forces in King's City waiting to be transported.

Gu Wei took out a Jade Scroll to confirm the information.

"Everyone, form up!"

Quickly, ten thousand people had formed into a battle formation, standing silently on the edge of a grassy plain.

According to intelligence, there was a gathering of around fifteen thousand Demonic Beasts here. Their first battle was to eliminate this group of Demonic Beasts.

Gu Wei gathered the ten chief officers and arranged the attack plan.

"Teams one, two, and three will attack from the east. Teams four, five, and six will attack from the south. Teams seven, eight, and nine will attack from the west.

The remaining Team Ten will ambush fifty miles north of the gap.

Is everyone clear on the plan?"

After Gu Wei finished the arrangement, he shouted loudly.

"Clear!"

After the ten captains responded in unison, they turned and began to execute the plan as discussed.

As Gu Wei formulated the battle plan and assigned tasks, Yang Tiezhu stood by, looking at Gu Wei with a smile, her eyes crescent-shaped.

When Gu Wei was conducting official business, she never disturbed him. To anyone who didn't know her, she would appear to be a gentle lady.

After finishing the task assignments, Gu Wei and Yang Tiezhu flew into the sky to observe the situation below.

The ten teams quickly arrived at their designated positions. Surprisingly, the low-tier Demonic Beasts in the grassy plain were completely unaware of the encirclement and continued to frolic in their own world.

With Gu Wei in the air, a massive Fireball Technique descended from the sky and thundered towards the group of Demonic Beasts below. Simultaneously, the three teams charged inward from their respective directions.

Each team of a thousand maintained their formation as they advanced rapidly. They held their weapons firmly and formed a solid wall, pressing forward toward the Demonic Beasts.

Every one of them wore armor crafted from the Refinement of Demonic Beast skins, with some key areas reinforced with sturdy shells.

This set of armor allowed them to face the attacks of Demonic Beasts with confidence.

Countless panicked Demonic Beasts, in their confusion, collided directly with the human wall made up of soldiers, meeting only death.

Only a few lucky ones found the gap to the north and fled northwards, but unfortunately, Team Ten had been waiting for them fifty miles away.
