Schiller walked into the classroom and then used his hand to close the door. Seeing his figure, Dick struggled a bit, and the tape-sealed mouth "hmm hmm" a few times, as if he wanted to say something to Schiller, but Schiller couldn't understand at all.

"This impostor disguised as me, wanting to pick up Dick after school," said Batman standing on the left.

"It was you who kidnapped Dick and wanted to impersonate me to confuse the situation," said the Batman on the right with a serious expression.

The two Batmen not only had the same appearance, build, and equipment, but also the same tone and demeanor when speaking.

And when the two Batmen turned their gaze to Schiller, Schiller felt his head start to hurt. He was really afraid that these two Batmen would say in unison, "I have to go write a paper."

Normally, the real Batman, when encountering an impostor, should not waste so much time talking to him, but should act directly, because he simply does not believe that there is another person in this world who can surpass him when impersonating him.

But the problem is that there is Dick in this room, and the fake Batman is sure that this will make the real Batman hesitate to act directly. The real Batman must be worried that if he acts directly, the other party, being cornered, may resort to extreme measures to harm Dick.

And Dick is now tied up and has nowhere to hide. He is very young and physically fragile. If he suffers serious injury, it may make Batman deeply regretful.

In short, this is a trap set by the fake Batman, using Dick to force the real Batman to play a game of who is the real one, not allowing him to break the rules with violence, but relying on the judgment of others.

However, the fake Batman did not expect Schiller to show up.

In his plan, his teammate Black Mask would hold Gordon for a while, allowing him to complete the kidnapping of Dick, but then Black Mask would pretend to be defeated and escape again, leaving clues for Gordon to come here to identify the real one.

The fake Batman is confident that Gordon's judgment will be wrong.

At that time, he will kill Dick in front of Batman and tell him that even his most trusted friends and comrades do not understand him, and Dick's death is the price he has to pay for his daily pride.

And while Gordon is making the judgment, he will definitely ask a lot of questions, and if he ultimately chooses the fake one, doesn't that mean that there is someone in this world more suitable to be Batman than Batman? Doesn't that also mean that Batman has not done enough and should be replaced?

Every criminal targeting Batman in this world ultimately aims to make Batman have a mental breakdown.

But now the situation has changed, and Schiller has come here, making the fake Batman feel a little nervous.

He understands that this Professor is not easy to deceive. He went through all the questions he thought the other party might ask, as well as the answers he had obtained through long-term tracking and observation of Batman.

But unexpectedly, Schiller didn't say anything. He stood there and sighed deeply, then looked around.

Just as he turned to look at the blackboard, he found what he was looking for. Schiller quickly walked to the desk next to the podium, where there was a telephone.

He picked up the phone and dialed a number, then said into it, "Hello? Are you free now? Batman wants to invite you to play a game, can you come over?"

Schiller switched the phone to the other hand and said, "Wait! Don't be in a hurry to leave! I think you should need a grand entrance! Yes, it's best to give Batman a big surprise, just like you're good at."

After hanging up the phone, Schiller came to the two Batmen and held out a hand to Batman, then spread out five fingers, and then slowly brought the little finger and thumb together, leaving only three fingers, and said, "Three..."

The two Batmen both had a puzzled expression on their faces.

"Are you saying there's a third Batman?"

"Are you saying there are four of us here, and three are real?"

"Two, one..."

"Bang! Crash!"

"Batman!! Your good friend Joker is here!! How's that? Surprising enough?!! Hahahahaha!!"

The Joker Jack who broke through the window directly knocked down the Batman on the left, Joker straddling Batman's body, tightly strangling his neck.

"Bang!"

The gunshot suddenly rang out, and the Batman who was not knocked down by Joker lowered his head, looking at the gunshot wound on his chest, then raised his head again, looking unbelievably at Schiller, who was holding the gun and firing.

Schiller actually found that the bullets from a regular handgun did not cause too much damage to this fake Batman. His fake bat suit, although not as protective as the real Batman's bat suit, still had some bulletproof capability.

However, Schiller did not continue to shoot, but let this fake Batman jump out of the window and escape. In fact, when this fake Batman took two steps back, Schiller noticed that one of his legs might be a prosthetic.

In other words, the one who was hit by Harley's shovel that day was this fake Batman.

As for his identity, Schiller actually had some speculation. In the comics, there is indeed a villain who is obsessed with Batman and wants to undergo plastic surgery to look like him, and that is Zsasz.

And what makes Schiller more certain about this is the build of this fake Batman. Schiller has seen him before.

Zsasz's real name is Thomas Elliott, correct, the same Thomas who committed a murder in Bruce's dormitory when Lex Luthor first came to Gotham University.

After the case was solved, Thomas was almost immobilized after being doused with Victor's freezing liquid, but fortunately Gordon contacted Victor to save him so that he could stand trial.

Afterwards, Thomas was accused of murder and was incarcerated in Gotham Prison, also known as the later Blackgate Prison, and this time, he reappeared, having likely escaped from the prison.

It's also quite interesting that the portrayals of Zsasz and Black Mask are very similar, whether it's their family background, experiences, and goals, they are practically cast from the same mold.

Both of them come from wealthy Gotham families, one from the Sionis and the other from the Elliotts.

Both of them staged accidents and murdered their own parents, with Black Mask causing a fire and Zsasz causing a car accident.

Both of them turned to a life of crime out of jealousy towards Bruce Wayne, and what's more interesting is that both of them only discovered years later that Batman is actually Bruce Wayne.

However, perhaps it is precisely because serial killers communicate more frequently, and Schiller has even published a paper specifically about Batman, allowing these two villains with very similar backgrounds and experiences to team up and devise a conspiracy plan to breach Batman's defenses.

Clearly, the death of Wayne Hospital Doctor Richard was a starting point.

The two of them collaborated to orchestrate this homicide case, and they almost simultaneously hid within the hospital, because they committed the crime at Wayne Hospital, so the owner, Bruce Wayne, would certainly come to the scene. They remained there to observe Bruce's reaction.

Among the two, Thomas was most likely responsible for the pre-investigation, and his actions were not meticulous enough, leading to him being discovered by Harley, who was working as a nurse at Wayne Hospital. Harley had premeditated this, and struck him with a shovel, causing him to suffer a very serious injury to one of his legs.

Fortunately, he had an accomplice, Roman, who rescued Thomas and took him to their base, where he received emergency treatment and was then moved out that same night.

At the same time, to make Batman believe that their target was not him, they deliberately left behind Schiller's photograph, hoping to mislead Batman into thinking this was a serial murder case centered around the doctor.

They both knew that Schiller was Batman's mentor and was important to him, and they believed that once Batman learned his teacher had been targeted by a serial killer, he would focus on protecting Schiller, neglecting the protection of those around him, giving them an opportunity to strike.

But that alone was not enough, they had to create a trolley problem, forcing Batman to save one but not the other.

Among them, Roman, also known as Black Mask, pretended to break down and expose himself due to Batman and Schiller's neglect, and was then taken away by Gordon, entering the Gotham Police Station's holding cell as a prisoner, allowing him to bypass the incredible firepower at the police station entrance and break through from the inside.

On the other side, Thomas, who had successfully undergone plastic surgery to become completely identical in appearance to Bruce Wayne, brought out the Batman disguise he had prepared long ago and went to Dick's school to kidnap him.

When the real Batman arrived, using Dick as leverage, they forced Batman to not subdue him with violence, in order to mislead Batman's friends' judgment and cause him to break down.

Schiller was right, these serial killers love to concoct these convoluted conspiracy plans, where a single event is circled around five or six times, played out in three or four acts, and involving seven or eight people, as if to prove their own cleverness.

Of course, Schiller's response was also very simple - he didn't need to know which Batman was real, Joker knowing would be enough.

In fact, Joker didn't even need to know which Batman was real, the one he dramatically confronted would be the real Batman 100%.

Standing by the window, Schiller saw the fake Batman, having fled too hastily, with his grappling hook not secured properly, fall from the third floor. His prosthetic leg was already broken.

Worse, the bone connecting the prosthetic to his body was also damaged, and if nothing unexpected happened, he might permanently lose that leg.

Schiller did not intervene in the brawl between Joker and Batman, instead he went to Dick's side, but did not help untie his ropes. Instead, he checked Dick's eyelids to assess his mental state, as he had not forgotten that Dick's mental state was abnormal, possibly having been hypnotized.

Schiller did not believe Black Mask and Zsasz had the ability to hypnotize Dick, so the one who had harmed Dick must be someone else.

However, after some thought, Schiller still did not directly treat Dick, as Bruce had already planned to train Dick and see him as his own adopted son, so this was a milestone in their relationship that was better left for Bruce to deal with.

Schiller first had Grey Mist knock Dick unconscious and gave him a sedative, then drove and delivered him back to Wayne Manor, handing him over to Alfred.

When Batman and Joker finished fighting and limped back to the bedroom in Wayne Manor to check on Dick's condition, they found a bottle of wine and a note tucked under it at the bedside table.

"This is mad wine, you can use it to communicate with Dick, go to his heart and have a good talk with him - Schiller."
