Under the guidance of a square-faced Foundation Building Cultivator, Cheng Jun found the cave mansion where Wu Tingchang resided.

From the outside, the cave mansion appeared rather small, and the Spiritual Qi was not particularly abundant.

The square-faced Cultivator sent a Transmission Talisman into the cave mansion, and after a moment, the entrance opened.

A Cultivator with slightly graying hair emerged from inside, seated on a Spiritual Weapon chair. Upon seeing the two visitors at the entrance, he looked somewhat puzzled.

"Senior, this is Wu Tingchang," Cheng Jun introduced after the square-faced Cultivator left.

"Senior Brother Wu, this esteemed senior has some matters to discuss with you."

After introducing the two, the square-faced Cultivator bid farewell and departed.

"Esteemed senior, how may I assist you today? Would you care to step inside the cave mansion and have a cup of tea?" Wu Tingchang had lost his former youthful vigor and appeared somewhat reserved and despondent.

Given his physical disability, his grandfather's death, his father's injuries, and the decline of his family, his status had plummeted.

Cheng Jun didn't waste any time and entered the cave mansion with him. The items he needed to deliver were of extraordinary importance and could not be handed over outside.

After symbolically sipping a cup of thin Spiritual Tea, Cheng Jun spoke, "An acquaintance of yours asked me to deliver a few items to you."

"An acquaintance?" Wu Tingchang looked puzzled. With his current circumstances, most of his old friends had severed ties with him, and he struggled to recall which friend this could be.

Cheng Jun cast a barrier isolating their Divine Senses, encompassing the entire living room. He then took out two wooden boxes and handed them to Wu Tingchang.

"Inside these boxes are letters. You will understand once you read them."

Wu Tingchang took the two wooden boxes and opened one of them, revealing a single pill.

"Is this... an Intermittent Pill?" He could hardly believe his eyes upon seeing the pill. It was a pill he had always dreamed of obtaining, one that could regenerate severed limbs and restore him to a normal state. However, he couldn't fathom who would send him such a precious gift.

He then opened the second wooden box, which contained another pill and a Jade Scroll.

When Wu Tingchang saw the contents of the second box, his eyes widened, his mouth agape, and he took a deep breath. It wasn't that he was easily surprised, but the pill inside was a Golden Core Pill. At this moment, there were likely only a few of these pills in the entire Qingxu Sect.

Overwhelmed with excitement, his hands trembled slightly, and he dared not touch the Golden Core Pill. Instead, he picked up the nearby Jade Scroll to read.

Cheng Jun stood silently by, not uttering a word.

After reading the Jade Scroll, Wu Tingchang finally realized that he still had a friend who remembered him, even during his lowest moments. With these two pills, his life would be renewed, his body would be restored, and he would eventually have the opportunity to build his Core.

"All the items have been delivered to you. If everything is in order, I shall take my leave," Cheng Jun said without lingering any longer. He left Wu Tingchang's cave mansion and temporarily resided in the Qingxu Sect.

Zhou Shiqi gathered the remaining Golden Core Cultivators within the sect and shared the contents of Wang Hong's letter, which Cheng Jun had relayed to him.

The reaction of the sect members was as expected. They were initially skeptical that, after years of secretive development within Demon Clan's territory, more than a hundred Golden Core Cultivators had emerged. Such a feat seemed highly improbable, considering that each of the six major sects only had a few dozen Golden Core Cultivators at most.

They found it hard to believe that they had managed to acquire so many resources from Demon Clan, let alone drive them to the desolate Southern Region.

Furthermore, the idea of recruiting and gathering so many lost Golden Core Cultivators within a short span of time seemed unrealistic.

Their skepticism aside, the main issue was that they lacked the strength to launch a counterattack at present. The battles with Demon Clan in the East Zhou region had already inflicted significant losses, and their continuous conflicts with local rogue cultivators upon arriving in the Southern Region had made matters worse.

Attempting to engage in a northern campaign now would risk losing their home to the rogue cultivators.

The Golden Core Cultivators of Qingxu Sect quickly reached a consensus: they would not participate.

Just as they were discussing their decision, a Transmission Talisman arrived. Zhou Shiqi took a look and smiled.

"Do you all remember Senior Brother Wu from Kaiyang Peak? He had a talented grandson."

The Qingxu Sect was not large, and its members were familiar with each other's backgrounds.

"That youngster had great potential, but unfortunately, he suffered injuries and became disabled. His physique was damaged, and it would be difficult for his cultivation level to advance further," remarked one Golden Core Cultivator, clearly aware of Wu Tingchang's situation.

"Yes, when Senior Brother Wu was alive, he always wanted to find a Spiritual Herb for his beloved grandson's bodily regeneration. However, such Spiritual Herbs are not easily obtained."

Zhou Shiqi smiled as he continued, "Yesterday, the messenger from East Zhou met with Wu Tingchang separately. Today, Wu Tingchang's previously severed legs have grown back."

In that moment, everyone understood the cause and effect of the situation.

"Does the Sect Master have any plans?" asked a Cultivator, making a slashing motion with his hand.

"No, no, Junior Brother, you misunderstand. We must not act rashly in our current state," Zhou Shiqi explained, fearing that their fellow sect members might misinterpret and attempt to take aggressive action against Cheng Jun.

If their actions succeeded, it would be great, but if they failed and the incident became known, they would have an even more formidable enemy.

"What I mean is that this Immortal Way Trading Company seems to have considerable wealth. We can engage in trade with them and gain some resources."

"That could work, but we are currently impoverished. What do we have to trade with them?" questioned a Cultivator in grey robes.

This statement plunged everyone into deep thought. They were indeed in dire straits, with nothing of value to offer.

Zhou Shiqi was the first to come up with a solution. "Although we are poor, we possess items that East Zhou does not. We can use these items for trade."

"For instance, the spoils we've captured from rogue cultivators might pique their interest."

"Yes, and there are many unique Spiritual Objects in the Southern Region that they might want."

Zhou Shiqi set the example, and others quickly thought of various items they usually had no use for. They reasoned that it was worth trying to trade them.

Cheng Jun stayed at Qingxu Sect for only a few days before departing on his own. His attempt to secure the sect's cooperation in attacking Demon Clan had failed, and he hadn't held high hopes considering Qingxu Sect's current strength.

Unless they deployed a Nascent Soul Cultivator, Wang Hong might not be interested in the few Golden Core Cultivators Qingxu Sect had left.

However, he did not return empty-handed. Through trading with the sect, he acquired various Spiritual Objects unique to the Southern Region. These items included Spirit Plants, refining materials, poisonous insects, and poisons. Cheng Jun believed that these items might have special uses if studied by knowledgeable experts.

In the eyes of Zhou Shiqi and others, the Pills, Spirit Wine, and other Spiritual Objects Cheng Jun had brought with him were considered rare treasures.

They sought to establish a long-term trading relationship with him, making Cheng Jun feel a sense of superiority. The elders of Qingxu Sect, who had once appeared superior to him, now seemed insignificant.

He was just an ordinary member of the Immortal Way Trading Company.
