Conqueror Kang's shocked expression gradually solidified on his face. The stars in Space began to rotate like a backward clock, forming a dazzling vortex. When the vortex dissipated, the face of Helen, who had just separated from Lady Loki, appeared.
After saying a few words to Helen in a low voice, Lady Loki went to the prison, and Mobius hastily stuffed Helen into the nearest office. Then, he went to dissuade Lady Loki.
Therefore, no one noticed that Helen, who had already searched the office thoroughly, skillfully made her way to a nearby window, opened it, climbed onto the balcony, and then jumped down to another office on a lower floor. She crouched by the window, secretly peering inside.
Seeing Lavona walking away, Helen smiled. Then, she climbed through the window and, in the locked drawer of the female judge's desk, found a time controller.
Helen looked around and saw no one nearby. She spat out a few components she had swallowed earlier, opened the cover of her chest reactor, pulled out two wires, and connected them to the time controller. She began to tinker with the time controller, making clanking sounds.
Of course, Helen still couldn't control the functions of this magical device, but she could bypass the security system to activate the time controller without being detected by anyone.
By the time Conqueror Kang arrived at the prison door, Helen had already used the hacked time controller to traverse the Space dimension and return to Earth where Schiller was located.
As soon as she landed, Helen rushed to Arkham Sanatorium where Schiller was, maneuvering through the crowd and almost knocking over nurses and doctors coming and going. She made her way through the outpatient area and the ward, finally arriving at the Director's office building.
Then, she dashed into Schiller's room, who was still sleeping at the time.
As soon as she entered Schiller's room, Helen sprinted with all her might, took a big leap, and landed directly on Schiller's bed. She then began to bounce on the bed like a trampoline, jumping over six hundred times in two minutes.
Just waking up and still in a dazed state, Schiller couldn't focus his eyes on the blurry figure of Helen. He took off his sleep cap and covered his eyes, saying, "Am I dreaming?"
"Dr. Schiller! Dr. Schiller! Dr. Schiller, wake up! Wake up now! Hurry, hurry, hurry! It's urgent! Wake up!" Helen shouted while bouncing. After a while, Schiller, with his vacant eyes, finally caught sight of Helen's figure. He looked at her dazedly and said, "Helen? What's wrong?... Did the helicopter engine arrive?"
"What engine?!" Helen finally stopped bouncing. She stood at the foot of the bed, stretched out her arms, and gestured incessantly, shouting at Schiller, "Time Management Bureau... So many time controllers! So many Infinity Stones! And so many people! Wake up, Dr. Schiller! We'll be too late! Everything will be gone!"
"What... What Time Management Bureau?" Schiller's brain was still in a shutdown state, but suddenly, he reacted to Helen's second half of the sentence. He regained a little clarity and stared at Helen, saying, "... Many gems, where are these many gems?"
"The Time Management Bureau!" Helen jumped onto a pillar near the head of the bed, then raised one hand high, gesturing and saying, "Their warehouse is filled with so many Infinity Stones, like a mountain!"
Then, she frantically spread her arms and said, "And there are so many big machines that can control time!"
"And there are many Lokis, and many hardworking employees who work diligently and overtime without any salary!"
Schiller was now completely awake. He looked at Helen and said, "Employees who don't need a salary? Where are they? Is there anyone planning to switch jobs recently?"
"No need to switch jobs! Originally, their boss was trapped outside this Space and couldn't come back. But unexpectedly, he suddenly returned. Please wake up quickly, Dr. Schiller! If we're too late, the opportunity will slip away!"
Schiller immediately threw off the covers and went to the closet to change clothes. Helen ran to the door, speaking rapidly to Schiller about Loki's encounter at the Time Management Bureau.
Schiller changed his clothes and walked out, bending down to pick up Helen. He said, "So, it's all Conqueror Kang's fault? Well, let me think about how to rescue the Time Management Bureau from the clutches of the evil Conqueror Kang..."
"The employees of the Time Management Bureau say that Conqueror Kang is extremely powerful, able to manipulate the Infinity Stones to rewind time and traverse timelines," Helen exaggeratedly described.
But in the next moment, Schiller gave her a mental slap and said, "Loki told you to say all this to me, didn't he? Did he mention how much he wants?"
Helen clutched her head and let out a loud cry. Then, with a slightly embarrassed smile, she said, "He doesn't want much, just a few Infinity Stones. I want a few too, to wear as a necklace."
"Forget it, even if you swallowed the Infinity Stones, you wouldn't gain their power. The stones are manifestations of the rules of Space, and you can't replicate that ability," Schiller shook his head.
Helen pouted, looking a bit unhappy. But Schiller carried her to the sofa and set her down. He poured a glass of water and said, "Conqueror Kang isn't important, but the Time Management Bureau has some value. The question is how to maximize that value."
"Loki did a good job setting the stage in the first half, at least he should have gained some goodwill at the Time Management Bureau. It shouldn't be a problem to bring the employees over. And his target shouldn't be the Infinity Stones, but the group of Lokis within the Time Management Bureau..."
"I know, he's been frustrated with the lack of Asgardian bureaucrats. It's better to recruit some ready-made laborers than to rely on those rough and tough Asgardian warriors to develop delicate skills."
"But I don't really need those extra hands. Let him handle it. Tony can take care of the machines at the Time Management Bureau and come up with some new equipment."
"The Time Management Bureau's presence in the Multiverse should have some use. It's a shame Spider-Man and the others built their base too early, otherwise, we could have taken advantage of it. But it's not bad to have the Avengers as a base in the Multiverse."
"As for the Infinity Stones..." Schiller rubbed his chin and said, "It's just icing on the cake. Even Thanos doesn't care about them anymore."
"Alright, now let's think about how to deal with Conqueror Kang. Time manipulation and timeline traversal are quite troublesome abilities."
Schiller's eyes flickered, and then, as if he had come up with an idea, he revealed a wicked smile and looked at Helen. "Come, I'll teach you what to do."
"You go back to the Time Management Bureau and coordinate with Mobius. Have him be ready to open a portal with the time controller at any time."
"Then, transform into your monster form and chase after those Lokis. Have Mobius keep opening portals to send them back home."
"Remember, you have to appear fierce, as if you could devour them at any moment. Make them scream for help, especially Odin."
"If all goes well, you should be able to trick them into giving you a spear. Then, keep chasing them, running through different spaces, and you'll..."
"When the time is right, I'll send someone to pick you up. Follow their directions and continue running. You should eventually arrive at a temple."
"After passing through that portal, devour all the Lokis and then turn back. By then, I'll immediately close the door, leaving the spear with them."
"The power of this Space and the power of our main Space are inherently connected. The spear won't lose its power, but without a target, it should automatically return to Odin."
"They can't penetrate the barriers of the larger world, so they will naturally gather together, like headless flies buzzing around."
"Then, you go find Conqueror Kang and drive him into the portal as well."
Schiller whispered many things in Helen's ear, discussing their plan. Helen nodded along, adding some suggestions and improvements to Schiller's plan.
For example, she mentioned that she could eat Elias and after swallowing those Lokis, she could spit them into the jurisdiction of the Asgard fleet, making sure they couldn't escape. Frigga would be very happy to suddenly have so many adopted sons.
After Helen left, Schiller made a phone call to Deadpool and paid him to do a simple task: hold up a sign. He didn't ask Deadpool to use his belt, but due to the unique nature of the belt, if Deadpool randomly pointed in a direction, there was a high probability it would lead to the Temple of Eternity. Even if he pointed in the wrong direction, it didn't matter as Schiller could move the entrance.
Once everything was arranged, Schiller went back to bed to get some rest. When he woke up again, he was awakened by a nurse knocking on the door. Schiller, now fully awake, changed his clothes and said, "Come in."
A nurse stood by the door and said to Schiller, "Hello, Doctor. There is an unreserved guest who insists on seeing you. He says his name is Nathaniel Richards, your friend and patient. Would you like to receive him?"
"Nathaniel Richards?" Schiller paused for a moment upon hearing the unfamiliar first name and familiar surname, but then he quickly realized that it was Conqueror Kang's real name.
Schiller felt a bit puzzled. Could there have been a mistake in Helen's execution of the plan, leading Conqueror Kang to find his location?
Even if he found Earth, shouldn't he have gone to S.H.I.E.L.D. or the Avengers first? Why would he come to find him?
Schiller pondered for a moment and then said to the nurse, "Ask him to wait for me in the reception room. I'll be there shortly."
The nurse nodded and left. Schiller didn't make any other preparations, he just put on his coat, grabbed the medical records, and walked out of the bedroom door.
When he arrived at the reception room, he indeed found an unfamiliar figure waiting inside.
However, what struck Schiller as strange was that this figure didn't have blue skin but black skin. He wasn't wearing armor but a suit, carrying a briefcase, and wearing glasses, looking like he had just finished work on Wall Street.
As Schiller walked in, the person turned his head and a look of delighted anticipation appeared on his face. He enthusiastically approached and shook Schiller's hand, saying, "Great! Doctor, we meet again. Do you remember me? I'm Nathaniel!"
Seeing Schiller's slightly confused expression, he patted his forehead and said, "Oh, I almost forgot. At this time, you haven't met me yet."
"Let me introduce myself. I'm Nathaniel Richards, but of course, I have a more famous name, Conqueror Kang."
"I come from the future, an alternate version of Conqueror Kang created after arriving in this SpaceEarth. I'm the Kang from a future timeline."
"However, in this timeline, I received professional psychological treatment from you and found a good job. But later, the timeline I was in was destroyed, luckily I managed to escape in advance."
"To be honest, that was definitely a stupid move by my past self. He destroyed that timeline before I could achieve the annual sales champion title?!"
"I will make that foolish version of me pay the price!"
