The changes in Yunxia Mountain over the past few decades did not go unnoticed by their two neighboring clans.

The Demon Bull clan couldn't help but envy Yunxia Mountain and often sought to establish friendly relations in hopes of benefiting from the association.

As for the Demon Wolves clan, their feelings were a mixture of envy, jealousy, and resentment. They were originally the dominant force in the region, and seeing Yunxia Mountain's power on the rise threatened their position as the regional overlords, leaving them discontented.

At this moment, six massive Demon Wolves from the Demon Wolves clan gathered to discuss their concerns. They exuded a powerful demonic aura, representing the current three-tier Demon Wolves in their clan.

Originally, the Demon Clan only had five three-tier Demon Wolves, but due to their accomplishments in defeating the Human Clan, they had received substantial rewards. In recent years, another Demon Wolf had advanced to the three-tier level. With their increased strength, their desire for everything related to Yunxia Mountain grew even stronger.

"Big brother! Yunxia Mountain has prospered by enslaving humans these years. If this continues, they might surpass our Demon Wolves clan," a Demon Wolf with a partially severed tail said with a sinister tone.

"Yes, I heard they've trained several Golden Core Stage slaves. It might become challenging to control them in the future," added a gray-furred Demon Wolf.

"Yunxia Mountain's Little Peng has always been arrogant and never regarded us with respect. This time, we must take action and show them who the true rulers of this region are," another Demon Wolf chimed in.

"I think merely confronting them won't be enough. We should seize their resources, stifle their development, and perhaps eliminate a few of those Golden Core Stage slaves for a long-term solution."

The most powerful among them, a white-furred Demon Wolf at the head of the assembly, appeared to be on the verge of breaking through to a higher realm. It raised one of its front paws, silencing the ongoing discussions. Then, it spoke, "Little Black, you've just advanced in rank. It's an excellent opportunity for you to go out and meet fellow Daoists from various clans. You can visit Yunxia Mountain. I've heard that their Spirit Qi is dense, and you can also request a few top-notch cave mansions for cultivation."

The white-furred Demon Wolf addressed the smallest of them, a recently promoted Demon Wolf known as Little Black.

"Furthermore, Tail Cutter, accompany him. Inform them that Little Black has recently achieved the three-tier rank and plans to celebrate with a grand ceremony. Ask them to prepare fifty mature three-tier Spiritual Herbs as a gift."

"What if Yunxia Mountain can't provide that?" Tail Cutter inquired.

Fifty mature three-tier Spiritual Herbs would be a hefty demand, one that even medium-sized factions, including their Demon Wolves clan, would struggle to meet. It was merely an excuse before taking aggressive action.

"If they are unwilling to offer fifty three-tier Spiritual Herbs as a token of goodwill, it means Yunxia Mountain is looking down on us and refusing to show us respect. You should know what to do in the face of such disrespect, right?" the white-furred Demon Wolf replied.

Tail Cutter understood the implications of the white-furred Demon Wolf's words. In the past, several clans had been wiped out by their Demon Wolves for similar reasons.

With this knowledge, Tail Cutter knew how to proceed. Their mission was not just about provocation; it was about finding a pretext to infiltrate the enemy's lair and gather intelligence. When the wolf clan eventually launched an attack, they would be ready to strike from within.

After all, Yunxia Mountain had protective formations, and it would require significant effort to breach them. Tail Cutter was not afraid to venture deep into the enemy's territory; all they needed was patience. When the time came for the wolf clan to attack, they would make their move. With only a few three-tier members on the enemy's side, Tail Cutter was confident they could survive.
After the meeting concluded, several three-tier Demon Wolves began summoning their subordinate Demonic Beasts to prepare for the attack on Yunxia Mountain.

Yunxia Mountain, which had started as barren land, had become extremely prosperous after decades of development. The Demon Wolves had coveted it for a long time, like a piece of fat meat just out of reach, causing them sleepless nights and great frustration. But now, it had fattened enough for them to feast upon, and their excitement couldn't be concealed.

On the other hand, Tail Cutter and Little Black traveled together towards Yunxia Mountain.

On Yunxia Mountain, Chen Xiaofeng led a group of refining tool masters, and over the course of a year, they had transformed all available materials into Magic and Spiritual Weapons.

At this moment, Xu Lun was distributing these weapons to everyone, following the same uniform standards. There were only five types of Magic Weapons: Flying Swords, shields, Binding Spirit Ropes, bows and arrows, and Long Spears.

However, these five types of Magic Weapons complemented each other perfectly, ranging from long-range bows and arrows to medium-range Flying Swords, close-range Long Spears, Binding Spirit Ropes for immobilization, and shields for defense. This coordinated combat style was far superior to chaotic brawls where everyone fought individually.

Everyone received a Magic Weapon that suited their abilities based on the training they had undergone. Wang Hong's subordinates who had reached the Golden Core Stage had practiced for decades, starting from the Qi Cultivation stage, and were accustomed to this cooperative combat style.

At this moment, Wang Hong received a Transmission Talisman, indicating that two Demon Wolves had come to visit and were currently at a nearby village outside Yunxia Mountain, detained for some reason.

He was puzzled by the sudden visit. After all, the two clans had been neighbors for decades, and there had been little to no contact between them. He wondered what had prompted this unexpected visit.

Nevertheless, he didn't seem concerned. With Yunxia Mountain's current strength, he could easily send a small team to deal with the Demon Wolves.

The reason the Demon Wolves clan had survived this long was mainly that Wang Hong didn't want to draw too much attention to Yunxia Mountain, as it didn't align with their strategy of discreet development.

Wang Hong sent out several Transmission Talismans, instructing all Golden Core Stage and Foundation Building cultivators to retreat to their respective cave mansions and avoid coming out for the time being.

He then transformed into the appearance of a green-skinned Demonic Beast and headed down the mountain.

When he reached a Guest Reception Hall, two Demon Wolves were waiting there impatiently.

"Hehehe! Fellow Daoist, you've come all this way, but it seems we have a hard time meeting you!" Tail Cutter, the Demon Wolf with a severed tail, spoke coldly.

"Apologies! Apologies! It seems these foolish slaves didn't properly attend to you, and you've been kept waiting. I'll be sure to punish them severely later. Now, may I ask what brings the two of you here?" Wang Hong asked directly, not intending to beat around the bush. He didn't mind the arrogance displayed by Tail Cutter, as he had the power to eliminate the Demon Wolf easily.

"I've heard that Yunxia Mountain has dense Spirit Qi and beautiful scenery. I've been looking forward to visiting and wanted to see it for myself. Fellow Daoist, do you mind taking us up the mountain for a tour?" Tail Cutter asked.

"Certainly! Please follow me," Wang Hong replied, leading the two Demonic Beasts out of the Guest Reception Hall and towards Yunxia Mountain.
