"I don't need a psychologist," Magneto looked into Schiller's eyes and said seriously, "You don't have to make excuses like 'I'm not here to treat you' or 'I'm just here on Charles' behalf to check on you' to fulfill your duties as a psychologist."

"How can I make you believe that I'm not here to treat you and I have no intention of changing your beliefs?" Schiller asked.

"Leave this place," Magneto replied.

"So, if I'm not here to treat you, does that mean we have nothing to talk about?" Schiller looked into Magneto's eyes and said earnestly, "I thought that among the few people of our generation left in this world, there should be more topics of conversation. Even if you don't want to dwell on the past, we can still talk about the future of mutants."

"What do you want to talk about?" Magneto placed his fingertips on the rim of the cup, causing the tea leaves in the water to swirl and form small vortexes.

"In fact, we all know that the Brotherhood and the X-Men are not on good terms. You have experienced too many wars between yourselves, and even though you have a close relationship with Charles, it's difficult to influence the thoughts of others. Now you are facing such a dilemma, aren't you?"

"That's a matter for mutants themselves," Magneto's expression turned cold, but Schiller immediately spoke up.

"Of course, I'm not here to guide you. The plan for mutants to migrate to the Andromeda Galaxy is something that Professor Charles and I have jointly developed. I have the responsibility to monitor the implementation of the plan."

"If you think that this issue can be dealt with by yourselves, then I won't intervene. However, if this problem is not dealt with in a timely manner and it affects the efficiency of the subsequent plan, then the person who makes an 'internal deal' guaranteeing this will have to bear the responsibility. Can you make such a guarantee?"

"I won't guarantee anything to anyone," Magneto lightly tapped the rim of the cup with his fingertips and said, "I'm only responsible for achieving the goals within the specified time frame of the plan. The methods and means I adopt cannot be interfered with by anyone, and no one has the qualification to demand additional guarantees from me."

"You bring up this topic because you think I will adopt some methods that you and Charles don't like to deal with this problem. But if you don't accept my way of doing things, then don't come to me from the beginning."

Magneto rarely spoke such a long sentence in one breath, and his attitude was very clear. Yet, it was precisely this statement that allowed him to regain the initiative effortlessly.

Because he made it clear that it was Charles and Schiller who needed his power to involve the Brotherhood of Mutants in the situation.

Magneto had already exerted his power as a ticket, so in this plan, he had the right to use whatever means necessary to achieve the goals, and no one else had the right to interfere.

"Correct, your powerful abilities are the most important guarantee for the Brotherhood to ride this vehicle. You knew that Charles wouldn't burn bridges, that's why you dare to be so confident."

"Of course, you also see that the person who formulated this plan can benefit from the changes in the situation of mutants. Mutants, like you, have significant value to be exploited. They won't abandon you, so you can sit here with ease and say 'there's no need to guarantee anything.'"

Schiller spoke, analyzing the current situation, and then said, "I won't pretend to threaten you. If you don't cooperate with me, I'll give up on all mutants because I know that such a threat holds no weight."

"The situation of mutants is already at rock bottom, trapped on a small planet and lingering at the bottom of society. Even if things return to the status quo, what will change?"

"You can continue to be a terrorist, threatening the lives of ordinary people. It's precisely because you have nothing to lose that you are invulnerable."

Schiller kept his gaze fixed on Magneto's eyes until Magneto had no choice but to meet his gaze. Schiller spoke up:

"From your eye contact, I can tell that you're surprised by my seemingly weak attitude. In your mind, you're pondering various malicious words, thinking that those are the things I should say."

"For example, comparing yourself to Charles and praising Charles for his good attitude and effective way of doing things. Or belittling your personality and behavior, saying that you have a bad temper, lack communication skills, and are nothing but an obstacle to the development of mutants."

Magneto's expression slowly changed, and he began to focus more on Schiller's eyes, as if curious about what Schiller was about to say next.

"But in reality, I made such significant concessions in my negotiating attitude, without using any aggressive words to seize the initiative, and allowed you to be so tough, not because I am incapable of doing those things."

Schiller smiled and said, "Any person with normal intelligence should understand that I can devise all these grand plans you know of and bring them to fruition. I cannot be a weakling who only begs others for help."

Magneto slightly retracted his chin and then raised his eyelids, staring at Schiller from above his eyes. Schiller remained silent, as if waiting for his response. After a while, Magneto's deep voice resounded:

"You're not the Schiller I wanted to see. This gentle attitude of yours doesn't serve any purpose for what you intend to do."

"I am well aware of this. As I said, I am not incapable of being tough. So, why do you think you are meeting me at this moment?" Schiller asked.

Magneto also felt a sense of confusion. Logically speaking, Schiller should have approached him with a higher stance.

So far, whether it's the forces in ordinary human society or mutants, no one can refuse Schiller's conditions.

In fact, it was surprising enough that Schiller came here. If he was truly someone who enjoyed wandering in space, he wouldn't have stayed in New York for so long.

Although this time he was entrusted by his favorite students, Magneto was not naive enough to believe that there were no political motives behind Schiller's actions.

But the fact is, Schiller had no need to personally meet anyone. By this stage of the situation, whoever he wanted to see should go and meet him.

Because everyone knows that a conversation with him can bring great interest to oneself and the forces behind them.

However, Schiller still came, and not with an extremely tough and indifferent attitude, looking down on Magneto and saying, 'You'd better cooperate with my treatment, otherwise I'll kick you and the Brotherhood out of the game.'

Magneto also knew that even if Schiller said and did that, he wouldn't have a good way to deal with it.

He couldn't risk offending all the forces that could benefit from Schiller's influence and engage in violent conflict with him.

Magneto knew he was strong, but he also knew he wasn't the strongest. He knew that behind the interest represented by Schiller, there existed an unimaginably powerful entity.

Therefore, when Magneto learned that Schiller was coming, he felt extremely anxious. He believed that this doctor would immediately point out his personality, words, and methods of dealing with things, and then start treating him. Throughout his long life, he had encountered countless people like this.

These people claimed to save him and said that if he continued with his current style, he would not be able to save mutants or himself.

Magneto knew that decades ago, Charles had the same thoughts, and now they would get along much better precisely because Charles had given up.

Therefore, Magneto was particularly puzzled by Schiller's attitude. Why did he have to be so gentle? So patient?

"You and I both understand the difference in our current situations," Schiller lowered his eyelids and smiled, saying, "Now, I hold all the power and my position cannot be shaken. As for you, Magneto, to put it nicely, you are the pioneer of the Andromeda Galaxy development."

"To put it bluntly, no one wants you to stay on Earth. It would be best if you rolled as far away as possible. No one welcomes a ticking time bomb like you. You are just a kicked-out stray dog..."

Instantly, the teacup in front of Schiller levitated and stopped in front of him. Schiller merely extended his hands, opening his arms to show that he had nothing to hide and no intention to resist.

Schiller indeed made no attempt to resist, nor did he display any signs of anger. He slowly leaned back, evading the teacup that kept moving closer.

Until his back was pressed against the chair back, with no more room to retreat, the teacup remained in front of him, and it was even touching his forehead.

The liquid inside the cup surged as if it was ready to be poured all over him. Schiller knew that with just a thought from Magneto, he would be drenched in tea, appearing disheveled.

Schiller also knew that this was Magneto driving him away and giving him a warning.

Although impolite, it was not excessive. According to how people understood Magneto, there was a high probability he would do such a thing.

But Schiller remained motionless. It was only when the tea inside the cup completely calmed down that he cautiously touched the side of the cup with his finger. After grasping the cup, he placed it steadily back on the table.

Magneto saw that the bottom of the cup fell exactly in the same position as it was originally placed, without any deviation, and his furrowed brows slowly relaxed.

"There's no need to be angry. I'm just stating a fact, while also showing you that every psychologist knows how to hurt others. It's just that our professional ethics do not allow us to do so."

"Once again, the difference in our situations is an existing fact, and you can't escape from reality."

Schiller leaned forward again, maintaining eye contact with Magneto, and said, "Everyone likes me, while no one likes you, including your children. Even if I don't make Lorna choose between you and me, the answer is obvious."

Magneto's lips moved as if he wanted to say something, but Schiller directly spoke up, "But even with such a huge gap between us, I still don't want to adopt a disrespectful attitude towards you."

"And there is only one reason for that... I greatly admire your character."

"Your actions, thoughts, your personality, and abilities, your charisma, all make me willing to set aside my pride and have a conversation with you."

As Magneto looked at Schiller's sincere eye contact, he froze.
