Immortal Path Space : Table of Content/Chapter List

"Let's split up and search. There might be something worthwhile," someone suggested.

The Chuyun Sect was once a medium-sized sect with Golden Core cultivators in charge. This was the former site of the Chuyun Sect, and despite being overrun by the Demon Clan, there might still be some valuable items hidden away.

The group divided into several teams and began their search.

At this moment, Wang Hong walked alone towards a dilapidated hall.

The first building he encountered was the Chuyun Sect's reception hall. It was obvious that no one would store precious items in a place where people came and went regularly.

The current reception hall was littered with leftover food scraps from Demonic Beasts, some of which had already rotted.

After passing through the reception hall, Wang Hong found himself in a courtyard paved with jade stones. Weeds grew vigorously between the cracks.

Several small paths extended from the courtyard, and Wang Hong randomly chose one to follow.

In the past, a place of such importance in the sect would have been protected by various formation traps. Even Golden Core cultivators would be in danger if they didn't know how to disarm them.

But now, there was no need to worry. This place had been occupied by the Demon Clan for a long time, and any dangerous formations should have been dismantled by these Demonic Beasts long ago.

On both sides of this path were spirit fields. Wang Hong entered one of them and found some Spiritual Herbs among the weeds.

However, there were no exceptionally rare Spiritual Herbs here. It seemed that the Demonic Beasts had already consumed the valuable ones, so he didn't waste much time on these.

After walking for about five or six miles along this path, Wang Hong was surprised to find a small, intact spirit field ahead, filled with an abundance of Spiritual Herbs.

What surprised him even more was that there were three human cultivators laboring in this field.

These three individuals were only at the Qi Cultivation stage, dressed in tattered robes and wearing numb expressions. Their faces were marked with scars. When they saw Wang Hong approaching, one of them said, "Are you new here? Come help us weed!"

That was all the person said before continuing to work, wielding a spirit hoe with extreme care, afraid of damaging a single leaf of the Spiritual Herb.

Wang Hong had no intention of engaging in idle chatter. Instead, he directly used his Spiritual Power to summon a large hand, grabbing the three people and placing them in front of him.

Once on the ground, the three realized that Wang Hong was a high-level cultivator at the Foundation Building stage. They hastily begged for mercy, saying, "Senior, spare us! We were captured by the Demon Clan and forced into labor."

They had sensed the battle at the foot of the mountain earlier and now, upon seeing Wang Hong, they could guess what was happening and hoped for a chance at rescue.

Wang Hong inquired about their situation and learned that these three were former disciples of the Chuyun Sect. After the sect fell, they were taken captive by Demonic Beasts.

These captives were being kept by the Demonic Beasts, either as a food source or as laborers.

They hadn't signed any Blood Contracts, seemingly not deemed valuable enough to warrant one.

Normally, a second-tier Demonic Beast guarded this place, but it had left during the earlier fight at the base of the mountain and hadn't returned since.

Leaving the three to wait in the courtyard, Wang Hong entered the spirit fields alone.

This spirit field was about five acres in size, and the lowest-tier Spiritual Herbs planted here were at the second tier.

What caught Wang Hong's attention the most were over ten plants in the center. They stood over a foot tall with purple leaves that shimmered with silver starlight.

"Purple Star Orchid! Hahaha! What luck!"

The Purple Star Orchid was a type of third-tier Spiritual Herb, commonly used by cultivators in the Golden Core stage. It took a thousand years to mature.
In the vicinity of these ten third-tier Purple Star Orchids, there was a patch of land containing over an acre of various Spiritual Herbs required for Refinement and Golden Core cultivation. There were more than thirty different varieties, and all three of the Spiritual Herbs Wang Hong lacked were found here.

He walked over and began digging up these Spiritual Herbs one by one, tossing them directly into his spatial storage.

While others might have to be careful when transplanting these Spiritual Herbs to ensure success, Wang Hong faced no such difficulty.

After he had gathered all these Spiritual Herbs, he stared at a massive boulder within the spirit fields, wearing a thoughtful expression.

After a while, he began forming hand seals and drew out a series of runes in the air. Under Wang Hong's control, these runes combined to form new ones, which then entered the boulder.

Moments later, the boulder slowly split open to reveal a passage two feet wide.

Wang Hong didn't rush inside. Instead, he released a few Spirit Bees to fly in first. After waiting outside for a while, the Spirit Bees safely returned.

Only then did he proceed down the passage. It wasn't long, about a hundred yards, before he reached the end of the passage, leading to a large cave-like space.

In the center of the space, there was a Spirit Spring next to which two Spiritual Herbs grew in isolation.

"Intermittent Spirit Fruit! Dark Night Flower!"

Wang Hong's face lit up upon seeing these two Spiritual Herbs.

The Intermittent Spirit Fruit was a small plant, only a little over two feet tall, with three white spirit fruits the size of pigeon eggs hanging from it.

It was a fourth-tier spirit fruit and a healing Spiritual Herb. Its most significant effect was the ability to refine Intermittent Regeneration Pills, which could regenerate severed limbs.

During battles among Immortal Cultivators, limbs or other body parts were sometimes unintentionally severed. If they couldn't be reattached in time, the cultivator would be left permanently disabled.

Only cultivators who reached the Nascent Soul stage had a chance to regenerate limbs, but it still required a substantial amount of time and Spiritual Power.

Therefore, such pills, capable of regenerating limbs, were in demand from the Qi Cultivation stage to the Nascent Soul stage.

As for the Dark Night Flower, it was a Spiritual Herb that needed to grow in dark places and served as an aid for Golden Core cultivators to advance to the Nascent Soul stage.

In the eyes of Golden Core cultivators, this Spiritual Herb was considered invaluable.

No wonder the Chuyun Sect had hidden these two Spiritual Herbs so deeply. If others found out, the sect would likely be in perpetual danger.

Wang Hong transferred both of these Spiritual Herbs into his spatial storage and searched the underground cave for a while. However, he didn't find anything else of significant value. He then sealed the passage and sent a Transmission Talisman to inform the others to come and gather the second-tier Spiritual Herbs from the spirit fields.

He had an abundance of these second-tier Spiritual Herbs in his spatial storage and didn't want to spend too much effort on them.

When a team of ten people arrived at the medicinal garden, they were ecstatic to discover this large patch of second-tier Spiritual Herbs. Given the scarcity of Spiritual Herbs in the Cultivation World after the recent chaos and destruction, this find was an incredible treasure.

Even the Demon Clan, who didn't usually cultivate Spiritual Herbs, would find a way to preserve them due to their immense value.

Wang Hong didn't pay any further attention to the medicinal garden and continued to explore other areas on his own.

Meanwhile, Skinny Monkey and his group had found the Chuyun Sect's library.

When the Chuyun Sect fell to the Demon Clan, they didn't have time to relocate, so many things, especially the library, were well-preserved.

After the Demon Clan took over this place, they didn't place much importance on the library, as many of their abilities were innate and didn't require learning. Their Realm levels were determined by their bloodline and didn't require cultivation. Therefore, the cultivation techniques and books from the Human Clan were of little use to them.
