Today we are going to learn how to solo on the ukulele, blues solos, but not just any solos we are going to shred the kind of solos you don't forget because they go outside the box. Yes, literally... and metaphorically as well, but outside the box. I add these notes one at a time, so instead of thinking about a massive scale with 3 extra notes I think about it more as three hexactonic scales that layer over my pentatonic scale that I can use over certain chords to create more professional sounding blues solos, as always tabs on the screen and a full theory break down.

Will Improve

  • Understanding scales
  • Constructing scales
  • Intervals
  • Use of the 3rd, 6th and 9th in a blues context
  • When to use the color tones
