Today we are going to learn how to play Jamming by Bob Marley. This is a classic reggae song from the greatest reggae artist of all time, the guy that defined a genre more so than any other musician ever has. This particular song is one of my favorite's of his, I have a very special memory of driving through rural Argentina a night after an all night party looking for a small fishing town called Ibicuy and while driving out there in Entre Rios pulling over on the side of the road, getting out and feeling the sunshine coming down on my face and my friend Mati said "Boludo... es una pausa de la vida" ... life paused for a couple of seconds! The song is basically just one progression that repeats throughout the entire song with a slight distinction in the verse with the chords repeating themselves briefly. Rita, Bob's wife, sang the song at a tribute concert and when the song was re-released 10 years later it was on the chart in the Netherlands for a full 4 weeks, just showing how timeless this song actually is.
