It is incredible how much Taylor's song writing has matured, but having said that I believe she has always had the talent to do this, but as a young teenage star she didn't have the opportunity. As she continues to come into her own she continues to shine in ways that really amazing. This song was written for the murder mystery film "Where the Crawdads Sing" and because the melody is so haunting in addition to teaching you the entire harmony, strum pattern and all the pieces I also decided to go ahead and teach you how to play the melody as well, that way you can use the Ukulele to help you learn how to sing the song, you can jam it with a friend and you can turn it into a finger style or chord melody composition if you would like to.
