It is time to look at the 5 types of ornamentation and how to use them in the solo that we have been working on. Hammer on Pull off Bend Vibrato Slide All of these little details will take the ordinary and make it extraordinary. The bends in the form of blues curls also add the blues note, the slides and hammer ons make the b5th come alive, vibrato makes the sustained notes sound more vocal like the are being sung. All these goodies in your solo will make it sound more vocal, which is exactly what we are going for. Santana said if people can sing it then it isn't a good solo, I like that.
