The first shape we learned in this challenge was shape 4, that is because of where it is located on the fretboard. As we progress down the fretboard we continue to add shapes and the next two are shapes 5 and 1. I like to do these two shapes together as they are basically mirror images of each other and are nice and fun to learn together. You don't have to play the exact same 12 bar as me, feel free to simplify it so you don't feel overwhelmed with it, but go ahead and dive in and do you best to internalize the shapes and know where the root note is, the D note, that way you can know how to finish your solos.

I think a mistake page 2, line 3 : you mean "it is the C note" (not "string") ? I'm late, working on this riff 1. easy to play but not so due to the Timing ! I manage it on low bpm but in context, when I'll play faster ?

Still making my way through the lessons. I do want to mention that I think your lessons are getting better every blues challenge. Covering more critical info not just on how to play certain things but now also why and when with some more theory to extend the concept beyond one key.
