Today we are going to learn how to play the country classic I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry by Hank Williams on our Ukulele. This classic country song has a 16 measure loop that just goes around and around around, with most of the entire song hanging out on an F chord! It does add some tension when the I becomes a 7 on the way to 4 and there is a C7 briefly, but most of the entire song is just strumming a 3/4 time on an F chord. We will talk about exactly how to strum through the whole song but in addition to that we will also take a look at the full melody of the song so you will know not only how to play the song correctly you will also know how to sing the song correctly. Hank Williams is one of my all time favorites to play and listen to, we have done some other songs of his on the channel if you would like to check those out, everything from I Saw the Light to Hey Good Lookin'.
