Today we are diving into the world of Jazz music on our ukulele. Just the word "jazz" can be very intimidating but that is mostly do to all the mystery and mystique around the genre of music, getting started with the genre is actually fairly basic, it can get much more complicated of course, but getting started doesn't have to be. The ii V I with 7th extensions, that is where we are going to start today. We are going to walk you through how to build the chord progression using just the strings and we are also going to take a look at some of the more popular keys, talk rhythm and strumming ideas and show you how to use the strings and the fretboard to build the chord progression as well, everything you need to dominate your first step into the jazz world.

I love this lesson…for some reason i just cant stop playing those ii, V, I’s. Strumming or picking both sound great!
