#TenThumbsBluesChallenge - Adding an Intro (Patreon)

Killer rhythm, solos, licks and fills, turnarounds, haunting lyrics, but it all has to start somewhere, so lets add a flashy fun intro to the top.
The intro is really just a smaller turnaround, which is cool because it also means that you can add any turnaround to your blues as an intro as well. It is just the part of the turnaround after measures 9 and 10, so just 11 and 12, or the riff half of the turnaround. You can play this before you start to strum and it sounds great.
For a little extra tension get to the D7 a little earlier or even let it ring out for a couple extra beats even a full measure, D7 to G7 is the tension that turns everything around. Knowing this means you can manage that tension and use that tension to create interest.
