Can't move chords? Start here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M8v_YjLQQM&t=927s

Today we are going to learn how to learn, kind of funny right? I used moveable chord shapes to learn every single note on the fretboard. The idea is that you learn how to see the root notes, and learn the to move that chords. That means when you turn an A chord into a C chord, you know where the C notes are. When you move a C to a G chord, you know where the G notes are. Then what you do is do this with several songs and you'll start to learn the notes around the fretboard in a practical way, as well as learn some chord inversions and shapes up the fretboard.

Hey Tyler, This was a great exercise. I wrote out all of the major cords and then figured out all of the notes in those cords to find the roots. Then I broke down why each cord has these notes... 1 - 3 - 5. Which I know the next thing for me to keep going is to understand the different scales to understand why different scales have sharps. Is that something that you have to just sit down and memorize the different scales or do you have a memorizing which scales have sharps? (Do you already have this video... sorry I probably should have searched for it)

This in combination with the video of you and Bernadette was real good stuff and gave me another motivation high. I keep on being fascinated by the whole "logic" behind everything. By the way - what brand is that Ukulele you are playing here? I dig that "laundry symbol" on the head :)
