Jesus just left Chicago... and his bound for New Orleans. A classic rock song with a clear 12 bar blues influence, some fun major chord movements that bounce from I to IV to give it some extra groove and a fun turnaround with an A major and cool little riff as well. This song is a classic example of how 70s rock n roll, while innovative and moving forward, never strayed very far from its classic blues roots. As always we will have all the chords, strum pattern, tabs, everything on the screen that you need to learn this classic tune, enjoy!
If you want to solo over the top of this song the G minor pentatonic scale or the G blues scale would sound great. This is a great song to solo over and learn to mix major and minor chords as well because of the structure.
