The second Wednesday of the month has now become "Baritone Wednesday"

Today we are going to the base of the blues, a strummer 12 bar in the key of E. This is the foundation of so much of what we are going to do moving forward. We are going to learn to solo over this progression, we are going to add turnarounds, we are going to learn how to add a shuffle, there are so many fun things we can do to this specific progression to make our blues interesting and fun, but to get there we need to have a foundation first and that foundation is built on our ability to strum through a 12 bar blues.

Over the next couple of months I will take your baritone playing to a whole new level as we explore blues playing and how to really start to dominant this genre of music on your baritone ukulele. Subscribe to the channel to learn and keep on rocking with us.

Great stuff, Tyler...Keep bringing the Bari lessons. As one of your devoted students, I thought you'd like to see this promo video for our Uke / Bari band, The Four Stringerz. Plus it has some of the waves we've been talking about surfing, when all this clears up. https://youtu.be/RQxkNRoTlHk
