Afro Cuban/Salsa/Montuno Rhythms on Ukulele! - Ukulele Tutorial with tabs, backing track

New Ukulele Tutorials every Wednesday and Saturday Today we are going to learn how to play Afro Cuban and Salsa rhythms, the Montuno, on the Ukulele. We will walk you through at a slow pace, 80 beats per minute, but this is something that once you get it mastered by prepared to play it twice as fast at 160 BPM! This is really just the tip of of the iceberg pertaining to this type of music, and the world of latin music is very large and very rich with many different style. We are looking at the Montuno style, which is the piano rhythm that served as the foundation to salsa music. We will walk you through the 2-3 Clave first in the key of D and then move the idea up the neck in the key of F so you can see how to transpose it. After we will repeat the idea with the 3-2 clave in both the key of D and the key of F as well. Each section has it's own little groove to rock out with as well!
