Today we are getting bluesy with 6 epic licks inspired by some of the biggest legends in blues guitar. When people talk about blues it starts in Mississippi, the Delta gave birth to this music, but as it continued to become more electric and energetic the Lone Star State continued to produce powerful artists that played some very fiery blues music. The legends include Stevie Ray Vaughn, Lightnin' Hopkins, T-Bone Walker, Johnny Winter, ZZ Top, Freddie King, Albert Collins and Gary Clark Jr. just to name a few!

To let all these fabulous artists know how much we love them I put together 6 blues licks in 5 different keys, I'll let you know where the root note is as well so you can transpose them and use them in multiple keys, too, that way you can shred these when you are improvising and you can put them in your own solos as well! The easiest way to be as tall as a giant is to stand on their shoulders!
