Today we are continuing our deep dive into Robert Johnson's style of playing with 5 blues licks in the key of C to add to your blues in C. All of these licks are one bar and they are made to to replace a bar of strumming. So if you see one bar that is a shuffle in C, you can simply remove that bar and replace it with one of these licks, easy! There is also one lick for the F7 and another lick for bars 9 and 10, the G7 and F7, in the turnaround. Licks can be longer than one bar, licks can be shorter than one bar, but while learning to manage this things it is best when you can use them interchangeably and fluidly.

It is very smart to go at your own pace to make sure you fully understand the concepts. It will greatly benefit your playing in the long run.
