Today we are going to learn how to play I Got You (I Feel Good) by James Brown. Take note fans of the #10DayBluesChallenge this song is is based on a 12 bar blues in the key of D. So you can apply what you have learned to make this song harder, easier, or add your own personality to it, it is up to you! As we walk through the song we will break it down piece by piece. The verse has a really cool sliding chord action and we will mix that with the bass as a riff or fill. The song has it all, sliding chords, riffs, syncopation, and of course that tasty horn section will be tabbed out as well so you can play this song like the whole band!

The one part of the lesson that I'm struggling with is I don't get a sustained sound when I move the D7 and G7 up the fret. I get the note, but not the sustained sound that you get on the lesson. Is there anything different I should do to get a sustained sound?
