Let the children boogie. Today we are breaking down Starman (which I think I can almost sing! I swear I am practicing haha) a pretty straight forward song with a couple of barre chords and wrinkles, not a beginner song but not a full blown advanced song either. We also tabbed out the solo note for note just in case there is anyone out there that doesn't like Bowie but loves tasty classic riffs (I see you Tracy! Enjoy the solo!) haha. Rock and roll everyone, and rememnber don't blow it because he knows it's all worth while.

nice. like it. strum is a bit fast for me so I keep flubbing but will work on it

Yeah, I think I would recommend that as a great first solo. It is tasty and high up on the neck but not too tricky.

It sounds great slowed down too, instead of trying to get it quick really slow it down and than gradaully speed it up, you'll get there really quickly like that.
