I can't belive this song came out in 1995! Rocking Green Day since I was ten years old my friends, love this tune. The power chords, also known as 5 chords, are a little tricky so I taught this lesson in 3 different levels super easy, easy, and full power chords, so no matter what your level you can enjoy this classic 90s classic, enjoy!

This classic song was from their fourth album, Insomniac, the first after the breakout classic Dookie. We will be breaking down the tune in three forms. The super easy version, which is just a one note riff, the easy version, which makes those riffs basic power chords, and than a full power chord strummer version for the more advanced players. Love Green Day. saw them live approx 1992 just after their first indie ep release at a club which was then called the Anaconda in Isla Vista near Santa Barbara- During my freshman year at UCSB. They were rock stars even then! I think they might have been opening for No Doubt, but that might have been a different show...
