Easy Ukulele - Lean On Me - Bill Withers - Beginner Songs w/Tabs and Play-a-long

Ready for another great beginner song for your Ukulele! Today we are learning the fantastic Lean On Me by Bill Withers. The chords are beginner chords but we are going to mix strumming and finger picking some melodies so it might tricky at first, but the melody lines are very simple. If you take it slow you will learn this beginner song with your Ukulele in no time and people will be singing along and loving your Ukulele jam. Soul music sounds fantastic on the Ukulele and this a great song for any baritone voice to learn if you are just starting your musical journey. For me Bill Withers has been a musical inspiration because his journey wasn't that of the hand picked virtuoso chosen for a pretty face. Born in West Virgina, his father died when he was 13 and he later joined the Navy at 18. After serving nine years Bill moved to Los Angeles at 27 after we got interested in music and song writing. Lean On Me was realased on Bill Withers album Still Bill, in 1972. Lean on me was Bill Withers' first and only single to be number one on the soul charts and the Billboard hot 100. Lean on me is number 205 on rolling stones list of the 500 greatest songs. Lean on me is also one of only 9 songs to go number one with versions recorded by multiple artists. So without further hesitation, grab your Ukulele, grab your attention span and grab your brain and follow me into this Ukulele lesson. Easy Ukulele - Lean On Me - Bill Withers - Beginner Songs
