Breaking down our first tune from a Colombian artist. Today we are going to learn how to play "La Paga" from Juanes. Juanes is from a town just outside of Medellín where I live and he has been a huge inspiration for many local children here in the city. I am very proud to be teaching this song today.

La Paga - Juanes - Ukulele Tutorial in English

La Page - Juanes - Ukulele Tutorial in English Every other Friday we here at tenthumbs do our best to expand your borders a little bit with some latin music. This one is really exciting because it is from Juanes, Juanes if from Anitioquia, Colombia. Which is the department where Medellín is located, where I currently live, so it is fun to share some of the culture that has shaped my life over the last seven years with you through the Ukulele. This Ukulele tutorial is like a spanish rock Cumbia, so we will examine how to do this latin style strum and give your music some flavor, feel free to use this latin strum in other Ukulele songs that you play as well, to give your Ukulele some Colombian flavor. The song is very easy to play as it only has 3 chords, however there is a key charge. When that part comes up we will walk you through it very slowly so you can play La Paga just like Juanes does, but it if it is too difficult it isn't necessary. Okay, enjoy learing how to play La Paga from Juanes on the Ukulele with your favorite Ukulele teacher.

Cool! Will definitely attack that key change.

Hi Tyler. First, great, please continue with those Latin songs and tips, it is definitely more motivating to focus on one genre (at least for me). Second, would you recommend/what is your favorite type of ukulele to play Latin songs. Tenor?
