Alternative Tunings on the Ukulele. Today we are going to look at how to tune your Ukulele down a half step and why would do so when jamming. This is very much that Nirvana unplugged sound, Motley Crue, some AC/DC jams, even bands like Aerosmith and Lynyrd Skynyrd have messed with this tuning. It isn't hard to do and it has some real advantages. One of the first being how much easier the key of E and B are, the other is how much easier it fits the male voice.
