This is one of my favorite melodies of all time and it is so much fun to play in a chord melody style. There are a lot of things you can learn for studying this melody, like the power of the full octave hop, when you jump up to that high G string it really catches the attention of everyone! In 3/4 feel free to keep it waltzy, this is the base, you can always rearrange your harmony the way you move to your melody to make it a more custom version, enjoy!

Nice one. I haven't gotten it down yet, some complicated shapes/fast changes, but I like the melody! Maybe spend a few more seconds showing the fingering in the videos for us pre-intermediates. I also I just want to say I admire they way you have built out your Ten Thumbs empire. So cool!

Tyler, man I've never had this much fun on the uke thanks brother! Now I just need to get up to your speed :)

My friend, for sure I will spend more time on those shapes. In fact you have given me an idea, something like "5 essential chord melody chord inversion/shapes." Great idea man!

Wow man, from the sound of it you are really coming along my friend! Hopefully I will have some time to make some other fun chord melodies in the next couple of weeks, this video went over really well with everyone!
