So, mod is getting renamed Starbecue, or SBQ, because mod names for Starbound combining things with Star is funny, also this one's food related, and then it's also a whole more innocuous than a mod that just has "VORE" in its title, so! whats the recent changes?
I basically, redid every single UI to be using stardust core's metagui system, basically means, they're a hell of a lot easier to make and modify in the future, and they also look a hell of a lot cleaner, also makes scripting them to do things easier too
So what all is here, remember that prey enabler item I mentioned a bit ago, well thats gone, its whole function is now part of the settings menu, accessed from the quickbar, or from the little gear in the pred UI, which now appears in the bottom right for a predator so they can see the status of their prey without opening the menu, also some buttons to quickly cycle the belly effect, and you can click on their icon there to perform actions like letting them out, or digesting them super fast (may be changed to something that needs to be unlocked later), or predator specific ones like vappy turning people into other vappies, or Xero putting people in eggs, or when I finally get around to re doing the Avian's walk cycle and I add a dick to it, turning prey in the dick into a blob of white stuff
also the customize menu was redone you can now use the text entry box to define hexcodes for the palettes of a predator to customize it even more than just the presets, I do have the functionality for the alt skins in, but I have not made any sprites for it yet, should also make it easier to choose a specific skin rather than use the cyclers as you could type in a specific name
also Help Tab, I think we can all agree that starbound's codexes are absolute crap to read, theres just such a tiny amount of space for the text, and they cycle pages rather than having a scroll area or anything like that, now, the settings from the quickbar will now have a help tab, with general information about the mod's functions, and then when transformed into a predator, a tab specific to that predator's information will appear as well! these tabs can be scrolled, and therefore can hold a hell of a lot more info in one place than a codex, and they're a hell of a lot more organized
