Hi,

today I overhauled the Mission Manager which was quite clunky and inflexible code. In the new mission manager on the Captains Computer

  • missions are unlocked depending on the MC level (slow increase in challenge)
  • missions for all known (and locally approved) systems can be checked and contracted (even in other systems)
  • mission log shows which star system you are supposed to deliver/do what
  • combat missions up to level 7 have been added

This makes for a much more interesting mission gameplay for those hunting the best trade or bounty mission.

And it is more robust, so now I can add new star systems without changing mission manager code at a 100 places.

Since arelltari has more challenging combat in general right now, does that mean a level two in arelltari is more challenging than a level two in iltari?

I made a mission table that filters the lower level stuff and skews the missions to higher levels. In Arellarti and Xenos, you won't get any level 1s, few level 2s and the all the way up to level 6 In Quthor you'll even get level 7

This is fantastic! In earlier releases I had encountered and mistakenly taken, a few missions that were beyond my ability to complete, so this is a very welcomed addition as well as missions in other systems. Thank you for continuing to expand and improve the gameplaying experience!
