Mars Express - Making Of (Patreon)

A few days ago I started sharing a few episodes of "Mars Express" movie making-of, with English, Japanese and Chinese subtitles.

It follows the production of Jérémie Périn's film from almost the very beginning and writing sessions stage. This is a very well-made and fascinating behind-the-scenes project.

This long term documentary, which currently has 16 episodes of approximately 12 minutes each, was directed by one of my best friends, Alex Pilot. And this making-of was financed by Everybody On Deck (the producer of “Mars Express”) 2 years ago via a small crowdfunding campaign in France.

The entirety of this making-of, which will normally eventually consist of 20 episodes, is for now reserved for backers of the crowdfunding campaign, and will perhaps be offered later on Blu-ray editions (we are doing everything to motivate publishers in France and overseas).

With Alex and a few friends, we made English, Japanese and Chinese subtitles especially for this release of a few episodes via Catsuka (3 episodes / 2 are already online).

"Mars Express" was released a week ago in cinemas in France, and needs support (the film has had 60,000 admissions so far, that's not bad, but not yet huge). If you live in France, don't hesitate to let yourself be tempted by this film :-]
