Catsuka Player : 16 000 animated episodes for free (and legally) (Patreon)

Dear Patrons,

I am pleased to launch a new Binge! section today on the Catsuka Player, where I added more than 16,000 episodes of animated series, as well as some movies and OVAs.

All these videos are visible for free and legally (they come from official Youtube channels).

Of course, these videos are not watchable from everywhere, most of them being geoblocked. So I developed features allowing you to filter videos only visible from a given country.

I also offer plenty of other ways to navigate through this catalog, filtering by category (retro, 80s/90s, 2000s, nostalgia, youth, short series...), or by country of production, all with rankings by popularity, title, update, etc.

As often with Catsuka, I like to offer what does not already exist elsewhere, whether in the curation of animations that I have been doing for more than 20 years, and also in the websites that make up the Catsuka web ecosystem (Catsuka Theater, Catsuka Shopping, Catsukids, etc), which I code alone and on my free time, like everything else.

And so in the field of animated works offered free and legally online to stream on Youtube, I have not found any place on the internet that has undertaken to list them. There are a few but mostly dedicated to Japanese animes, and referencing works visible in certain countries only.

I therefore undertook to list what exists on a global level (because my audience is mainly international), and to integrate it into the friendly interface of the Catsuka Player, where I also took the opportunity to add other features.

In particular, I created series pages, with automatic playback playlists of these series, knowing that with a Catsuka Player user account you can also add these new entries to your favorites (and I also remind you that creating an account user is not required at all to access the Catsuka Player).

Doing this fairly unique virtual world tour allows to realize that in some countries the legal and free Youtube offer is quite notable.

In France and the USA, there are a lot of Western series from the 80s/90s accessible.

In Asia (outside Japan), there are channels offering recent series (like Spy x Family, One Punch Man, Mob Psycho 100...), and with English subtitles.

In Ukraine and its neighboring countries, you can find Mind Game, Genius Party, or old Toei movies.

Several Japanese channels also offer many classic series with English subtitles, and even some that are very popular in Japan but have never landed internationally (like Maruko Chan, Atashin'chi... or Gudetama ;-p).

Obviously you will see ads on most of these videos, which are most often monetized by the relative Youtube channels that I embed, and it is therefore the rights holders who receive the money, not me ;-].

I don't earn a penny, I do this out of pure passion, as always.
