Todor & Petru (CRCR : 10 years) (Patreon)

This year the french animation crew of CRCR is celebrating its 10th anniversary (send them lovely messages on their Instagram account, where they started to share souvenirs).

CRCR is a team of 6 former Gobelins students : Rémi Bastie, Nicolas Dehghani, Paul Lacolley, Kévin Manach, Nicolas Pegon and Jérémy Pires.

I always loved their work, and I wanted to share with you some materials of "Todor & Petru", their first hit (made in 2010 during an intership at WIZZ studio).

This short film had a strong impact on me, it was a really innovating mixed-media project (pixilation, 2D animation ...), with a strong creative energy. I love to rewatch this film each year, also because I lived near one of the place where they shot the film.

"Todor & Petru" (played par Nicolas Dehghani & Nicolas Pegon) are characters that these guys created before CRCR, as you can see in this first video they made while they were students in Gobelins.
