This episode isn't ALL bad. For a start, it's a strong story for Tasha; and allows her character to develop, with Denise Crosby making the most of the opportunity. We get another entertaining glimpse of the possibilities of the Holodeck; and I also rather enjoy the whole 'fight to the death' final Act. Unfortunately the tone of the episode is, if arguably not racist, at the very least deeply patronising; and, for me, it also lacks a sense of momentum for much of its running time.

There are a couple of episodes in this season that are really cringe for me and this is one of them. I didn't watch this with you, so looking at the comments, I see some say it has racist. I don't remember that aspect. It's the sexual overtones for me that are uncomfortable and the whole episode is written around them. I'm a Game of Thrones fan, but I just never needed the sex scenes, source material or not. I guess in my old age, I am becoming a prude, lol
