Thank you for a another gret reaction. I liked these two parts & didn't find them draggy as I felt it progressed the story in an interesting way.The part that sticks out for me in these two parts is when Merak falls into that weird trap. I couldn't quite get my head around what had happened! Probably one of the weirdest moments of Classic Who for me! There is a PC game which came out in 1997 called Destiny of the Doctors, focussing on all the classic Who Doctors (with some great voice overs btw). In one part your character is traversing a maze with a pattern tiled floor. If you step on the wrong tile, you fall through it in a very similar sequence. They were known as floor traps.
